Hello !
On this last day of March, are you ready for the new challenge that starts today at Less is More ? After the “dreaded” OLC challenge, here is a challenge where you will have to take inspiration from the splendid card of our January winner, Aileen of Color & Sparkle ! But I let you admire…
La carte d’Aileen / Aileen’s card

1/ Merci
Unfortunately I didn’t find the gorgeous blue shades of Aileen’s card but I tried to reproduce the way she has coloured these pretty little flowers.
I stamped (using masks) the flowers with Altenew dark blue ink. Then I coloured with markers in order to obtain those different shades of blue.
I die cut the sentiment in a silver glittery paper. I foam mounted the image on the double white card. Finally, I glued some silver and blue jewels.
Stamp: Uniko “Kindness blooms” – Markers: Promarker “Cool aqua, Duck egg, True blue, Aegean” – Inks: Altenew “Sapphire” – Embellishments : Little things from Lucy’s cards Jewels “Rainbow Sparkle Mix”.

2/ Thanks (using sponsor’s stamp for the sentiment)
For this second card I used layering stamps.
I first stamped the background of the flower with a very soft blue then I stamped the outlines with a dark blue ink.
Then I stamped the two other layers with two other shades of blue. I masked the flower to stamp the leaves, first in a soft grey for the background of the leave and the details with a silver ink on which I added a glittery embossing powder.
To finish, I stamped the sentiment (same process as for the leaves) and I added jewels.
Stamp: Altenew “Garden Hydrangea” & HLS “Whimsical friends” (sentiment) – Inks: Altenew “Sapphire, Tide Blue, Sea Glass, Turquoise, Limestone” & Color Box “Silver” – Embellishments : Little things from Lucy’s cards Jewels “Rainbow Sparkle Mix”.

Your cards are stunning as usual!
Two beautiful blue cards! The way you colored the flowers on the first card gives them so much dimension! And I like how the leaves sparkle on your second card!
Hope you had a nice Easter!
Both of your blue bouquets are lovely, Izzy. The masking on the first card is fantastic and I’m glad you shared it with us at Just Us Girls.
Two beautiful cards, love the blue floral images you’ve used.
Thank you for joining us at Simon says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Oh !
Bravo Izzy !
Bises.
Two wonderful CASE cards! Your use of Promarkers is phenomenal -I love the way you colored in your bloom, the look is very vivid and dimensional. Great coloring technique! Super job with layering stamps in your second card. This is such a pleasing layout Aileen provided for us!
Two stunners here, Izzy. Those swirly flowers on your first card have so much dimension thanks to the way you’ve coloured them. And that hydrangea is stunning, what a great idea to add silver as a layer on the leaves xx
Blue beauties Izzy and full of inspiration as always. I love how you’ve used those uniko blooms on the first one and coloured the different blue shades so perfectly. The silver elements on the leaves of the second card are super eye-catching and teamed with the silver sentiments – just perfect. Have a wonderful Easter weekend. x
A couple of blue beauties, Izzy! Fabulous colouring and masking on your first card… those flowers are so pretty. I didn’t match Aileen’s blue either. Your hydrangea is lovely and the layers were perfectly stamped. Well done! Hope you had an egg-cellent Easter. xx
Gorgeous cards! Love the coloring and layout too! Thanks so much for linking up with JUGS this week!
Two lovely takes on Aileens card Izzy. Both of your cards are super pretty. I always say that there are always blue florals in cardmaking, even if only a few blue flowers exist in the real world 😃😃. I often do blue on mine! Thank you for sharing with us, Lisa
Two blue beauties, Isabelle … they’re both so fresh, clean and lovely! The colouring on the first is fabulous … and I love the sparkle and shine … the delicate die cut is just perfect with those whimsical blooms! Your layered hortensia is gorgeous with those wonderful, shimmery, subtle grey leaves … so eyecatching! Je te souhaite un tres joyeux pâques! Bises et hugs, Anita 🙂
Two such beautiful cards, I do so love blue flowers. Its a shame we have so few in our real gardens as they are so beautiful. Have not seen the stamps you used for your first card before, I will have to check them out, so pretty. Just wonderful.
Two beautiful cards, great tones of blues and such pretty colouring. Thank you for the wonderful inspiration x
Two really pretty cards from you this week Izzy. Beautiful colouring on the first card (yes, I struggled to match the colours too) and you really caught the look of the curved petals. Loving that beautiful hydrangea stamp – I used to have a blue one in my garden when I lived in England and I adored that plant. You’ve brought back a very happy memory with that card. Anyway, have a fantastic Easter weekend xx
Bises
