Bonjour !
Hello !
It’s time for a new Design Team Blog Hop & Giveaway along at Uniko ! For those who do not know yet, on non-release month, like this month, Bev chooses a product, either released the previous year or a product that deserves to take the air ! This month, her choice fell on 2 complementary products …
… the stamps set Fun Flowers and the stencil Fun Flowers.
Bonne chance !
Anyway, be sure to comment along the hop for your chance to win a £15 eGift certificate to spend in the online store. You have until Midnight (GMT) Saturday 7th April 2018 to comment. Good luck !
For all my cards, I get inspired by different current challenges, either for the choice of colours, or for the sketches.
1/ Fun Flowers stamp set
This pretty set is composed of several stamps that allow to give vent to our imagination. Here I simply randomly stamped the flowers (large en small), I heat embossed them and I coloured them with markers and Crystal Drops.
Then I used the sentiment from the set Big & Bold – Hugs and I adhered the image on a double grey card.
Stamps: Uniko “Fun Flower”, “Big & Bold: Hugs” (sentiment) – Markers: Promarkers “Turquoise, Lime green” – Embellishment : Nuvo Crystal Drops “Apple green & Caribbean ocean” – Inks : Altenew “Limestone”.
Challenges:
Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge #142 : Colors
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge : Floral Frenzy
The flower challenge #18: Anything goes
2/ Fun Flowers stencil
The colours of the last CAS Colours & Sketches challenge inspired me for this card. I simply played with these colours through the stencil over a white cardstock.
Then I die cut a shape that is close to the flowers shape on the stencil.
I cut a white square, slightly smaller than the double pink card, then, all around, I stamped and I white heat embossed those little circles from the set Background builders – round in circles. Then I coloured them with fine liner markers, always with the same three colours. I adhered the stencilled flower on it slightly offset and I cut the protruded part.
On a pink strip of paper I stamped and I white heat embossed the sentiment from the set Flower Power #2. I cut a strip of Vellum a little bit larger and I adhered the pink strip over it. Then I fixed it on the back of the image with adhesive tape before foam mounting it on the pink double card.
Stamps: Uniko “Background builders – round in circles” & “Flower Power #2” (sentiment) – Stencil: Uniko “Fun Flowers” – Die : K-Kingdom “Flowers” – Inks : Distress OX “Picked raspberry, Spiced marmalade, Peacock feather”.
Challenges:
Freshly Made Sketches #329
CAS Colours & Sketches #264: Colours
3/ Fun Flowers stamp & Stencil
For this card I used both stencil and matching stamps. This set of stamps is really versatile because the different elements can nest in one another.
With a foam applicator, I covered a strip of paper with pink ink. Then I put the stencil on it and with a black fine liner marker I drew all the outlines from the stencil.
On a white cardstock I black stamped and I heat embossed the flowers and the leaves. Then with the same pink ink I coloured the inner petals of the flower and I added black Crystal Drops into the little circles at each end of the petals.
I glued the pink stencilled strip over a black strip and I adhered the whole part on a white double card. I black stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from the set Simply Said. I fussy cut the flower and the leaves, I glued the leaves on the double card and I foam mounted the flower to give a little bit of dimension.
Stamps: Uniko “Fun Flowers” & “Simply said” (sentiment) – Stencil: Uniko “Fun Flowers” – Inks : Distress OX “Worn lipstick”.

Ooh such marvellous cards – each one an absolute beauty! xxx
Fabulous cards made with the Fun Flowers stamp and stencil! I am so impressed by the border of the second card made of these tiny dots! That stamp has 4 rows, doesn’t it? Don’t know if you cut it or masked it but they line up perfectly! That’s precision!
A trio of gorgeous cards, all so different and you’ve showcased the stamps to perfection, Izzy, these are on my wish list!
Love your adorable cards!!!

What a fabulous showcase, Isabelle … they’re all so pretty! Clever use of the stencil to create the outline art against the pink … brilliant detailing with the coloured dots framing that softly sponged bloom … and delicious use of that fantastic colour palette with your cascade of flowers and that big hugs sentiment! Love the placement of the flowers and the grey adds a softness against the white. I’m so happy you shared this with us at The Flower Challenge!!
Lovely cards… 3rd card is my personal favorite… Loved the color combo..

A trio of wonderful cards that are not only incredibly pretty, but showcase the versatility of the stamps and stencil in both solo and paired performances. Love them all! Looking forward to welcoming the stamps into my collection so I can case, case and case!

Beaucoup d’idees Izzy. Bon weekend! Bises
Love all 3 cards Izzy, the colors are all fun and spring like. Great showcase. Have a great weekend x
Wow!! 3 gorgeous cards. Love the cas designs & pretty florals.
A trio of vibrant bold and super cheery colours on your cards Izzy. Love that they all make me smile and I just can’t resist your colour combos. You’ve handled those nuvo drops brilliantly too – I’m terrified of messing up my card if I use those! A perfect showcase of the Uniko set and stencil. Happy Spring x
Wow! What a super selection of cards. Love the lime and aqua card – so fresh and zingy. The die cut stencilled flower is such a great idea. But I think the last card is my favourite! Great work. xxx
Fantastic threesome Izzy! Super idea to die cut the group of stencilled flowers and I’m completely captivated by the stunning colour combo of the third card. Great to see that one linked up at AAA Cards.
Wow – Three totally different styles!
I love the colour combination grey+lime+aqua! The flowers on your card look so vibrant!
The pink cards both make me dream of the summertime in my (hopefully) blooming garden!
Thanks for all your inspirations Izzy!
Wish you a nice weekend!
