Bonjour !
Hello !
I hope you had a good weekend and it was successful in your crafting! Personally I managed, between raking leaves outside and the birthday of my son, to make a card! I had an idea of card that responded as well to the challenge of CASology (week 222) as to the challenge of Tic-Tac-Toe # 21, but I was wondering about the colors to use. And Saturday morning I had the revelation with the challenge of Less Is More # 301! I love to watch the different challenges because I feel that my brain work much better when there are several challenges!
Less is More #301 : Colour – Gold & Purple
With the Welcome from CASology, the Tiny Die-Cuts and Thread from Tic-Tac-Toe as well as the colours Gold and Purple from Less Is More, I managed to do this card !
I die cut the little houses in the purple paper and gold paper. I shortened a little bit the purple houses in order to highlight even more the gold house. I adhered the houses on the card base. Then I stuck the gold thread just beneath them. I unfortunately don’t have a “Welcome” stamp, so I wrote the sentiment (our printer is down !).
Then to finish, I adhered some micro golden beads above the roof of the golden house to make the smoke. I love it as a final touch !
And Voilà ! A quick and easy card to make. It remains for me to invest in a stamp “Welcome!” I hope you enjoy it as much as me!

I love your “welcome card.” making the one house in gold is so genius and the tiny deads for the smoke are so cute. The card says so much in a simple way. The gold thread was all that was needed to give the houses a base. Thanks so much for joining us this week, at the Mod Squad Challenge.
