Bonjour !
Hello !
I hope you have enjoyed these 3 days of introduction and all the wonderful inspirations proposed by my teammates. Today it’s the big day and you will be able to admire the entire new release from Uniko with even more inspiration on the main blog and on each of the BA’s blog.
Here are the 4 new stencils that enrich the Uniko stencils collection and for some of them, also complement the collections of stamps and dies of the same theme.
“English Country Garden Butterfly I Stencil” & “Birthday Wishes”
This card is the result of a test after my yesterday’s card. Indeed, after playing with Brusho pigments on the stencil, I thought it was a shame to wash this stencil without using these pretty colours that still remained on it. So I cut a square of white paper and I put the stencil (brusho side) above and I gently pressed with an absorbing tissue over it. Result, all the colours have spread in a “smooshing” way around the butterfly.
Once dry, I took back the butterfly stencil and with mini applicators, I coloured the inside of the wings in the same shades as the Brusho around.
I stamped and I black heat embossed the sentiment then I glued some sequins. To finish, I foam mounted the image on the double card.
Stencil : Uniko “English Country Garden Butterfly I” – Inks : Distress “Mustard seed, Picked Raspberry” – Pigment powders : Brushos “Gamboge, Alizarin Crimson”.
“Mixed Mini Geometrics Stencil”, “Background Builders – Round in circles, Triangulate, Seeing starts” & “Simply Said”
Again, a very simple card with this new stencil which is, as Bev said it, perfect for masculine cards. I also added some geometric shapes from the Background Builders sets.
Stencil : Uniko “Mixed Mini Geometrics” – Stamps : Uniko “Background Builders – Round in Circles”, “Background Builders – Triangulate”, “Background Builders – Seeing stars” & “Simply said” (sentiment) – Inks : Altenew “Silver Stone, Sea Breeze, Sapphire”.
“Pure Florals Rose Stencil”, “Pure Florals Rose Stamp” & “Pure Forals – Chrysanthemum” (sentiment)
Here again, I associated the stencil and the stamps of the same collection Pure Florals Rose.
Stencil : Uniko “Pure Florals Rose” – Stamps : Uniko “Pure Florals Rose” & “Pure Forals – Chrysanthemum” (sentiment) – Inks : Distress “Festive Berries, Fired Brick, Worn lipstick” (stencil), Catherine Pooler “Samba, Rockin’ red, Grass skirt” (stamp) – Colour Pencils : Prismacolor “#122, 912, 913, 923, 924, 937”.

Your butterfly is simply lovely in pinks and yellows. The smooshing seems to add just the right amount of texture to your stenciled image. Adding the additional colore really enhances it’s structure. Thanks for sharing it with us at CAS Mix Up.
