Uniko Challenge #63

Bonjour !

Hello !

I hope you are well and that you are ready for a new challenge at Uniko ! This challenge will delight everyone since the theme is “Anything goes” with the twist option “Cool winter colours” ! I can’t wait to see what you will enter in the gallery.

Voici ma carte / Here is my card

To make this card I used two stencils. One that I made with a die in a Mylar sheet to make the shape of the background, and one Uniko stencil for the pattern.

Through the first stencil I made a colour gradient with Distress Oxide inks then I put the second stencil (the patterned one) and I blended Distress inks again on top before using the Versamark pad to heat emboss with clear powder. I also stamped and clear heat embossed the second part of the sentiment.

For the sentiment, I used a die and I made the background of the word in Vellum paper and the foreground in white card stock.

  2. Great idea to dicut a stencil in the fun floral shape and then to decorate it with another stencil! This looks so cool, thankyou for playing along at Seize the Birthday, Cathy x

    1. How pretty! Love your combo of products and the ombre effect of the stencilled background is fantastic. Thanks for playing at AAA Birthday, hope to see you join in with future challenges too. Stay safe and keep crafting!

  3. This card is exactly that, HAPPY! I love how you have used the optional twist of using stencils and a double technique at that. The ‘HAPPY’ die is the perfect addition. Beautiful card and beautiful showcase of Uniko. Hugs Bev
