Bonjour !
Nous voici déjà fin Août et chez Less is More nous terminons le mois avec ce nouveau défi…
Hello !
Here we are already end of August and at Less is More we close the month with this new challenge…
We would love to see on your cards some metallics effects (Metal objects, metal colours, foiling etc.), of course your card has still to be CAS !
We also say goodbye to Funky Fossil Designs who has been our sponsor throughout the month of August. I invite you to go and discover their last release which I’m sure will delight you.
Voici mes cartes…/Here are my cards…
1/ Hugs and Fishes (using sponsor stencil)
Not easy to photograph a card made with mirror paper, all the metallic effect is reduced to nothing, but I can guarantee you that in real life, these two fish die cuts in silver and turquoise mirror paper are all simply beautiful.
To highlight them, I made waves with a stencil and texture paste. The sentiment is stamped with silver ink and the panel is mounted on turquoise mirror paper. The whole thing is glued on a double white card.
This card is for my friend for his birthday. He loves the sea and the fish, he has a magnificent aquarium at his home.
Stencil: Funky Fossil Designs “In the flow” – Dies: Simply Graphic “Poissons graphiques” – Stamp: High hopes “hugs & fishes” – Ink: Tsukineko “Delicata Silvery shimmer”.

CASology week 350 – Water
Seize the birthday #173 – Square card
AAA Birthday card #4 – For the boys
Simon Says Wednesday challenge – Anything goes
TCP Tuesday Challenge #360 – Clean & Simple
2/ HO HO HO (using sponsor stencil)
For this card, I chose to add a metallic object. While looking through my stash, I found this buckle and I immediately thought of a belt buckle. And who wears a big belt ?
To illustrate his pants, I used a knitted background stencil and I blended three Distress inks to make an ombré effect. I put a black ribbon in the buckle and stuck it on top. Then I stamped the famous expression of this big guy in red as a sentiment.
To finish, the panel is foam mounted on the double white card.
Stencil: Funky Fossil Designs “knitted background” – Stamp: Uniko “background builders : Christmas 2018” – Ink: Versafine “Onyx black”.

Biz
