Bonjour !
Hello !
How are you ? Today I’m coming back with two cards inspired by several ongoing challenges. It’s been a long time that I didn’t play my favourite game : to combine several challenges ! The Twofer Card Challenge gave me the theme, Inkspirational the colours choice for one of the cards, AAA Cards the design for the other one and Time OUT the choice of the sentiment.
Voici mes cartes / Here are my cards
1/ Bon anniversaire
I love this combo of colours purple and gold. To make these butterflies, I moistened a mixed media paper with a brush and water, then I sprinkled Brushos powder. I dried it. On my working mat, I put purple Distress ink and I sprayed water on it. I moistened the parts without pigment and with a brush I made ink stains. I alternated Distress and Brushos and I dried from time to time between 2 layers up to obtain a pretty background for my butterflies. To finish, I made some splatters with gold ink. Once dry, I die cut the 3 butterflies.
On a white cardstock, slightly smaller than the double card, I stamped the sentiment with Versamark and I heat embossed with gold powder. I masked the right part and I made purple and gold splatters over the left part.
I adhered a golden sheet of paper under this panel before gluing it over the double card. Then to finish I adhered the butterflies with a dot of glue only on the body to let the wings free.
: Joyeux Anniversaire Sandie !
I’m dedicating this card to Sandie who celebrates her birthday today. : Happy Birthday Sandie!

You may not have noticed on the first card, but the particularity of these dies is that they cut (normal !) but they also emboss. That’s what I did for this second card. I die cut the butterfly into watercolour paper and then I dry embossed it to bring out the patterns that I had fun watercolouring.
To make the colour pink/red pops up even more, I coloured the outlines of the patterns with a black marker then I added some white dots with a pencil.
On a double Kraft card, I stamped the flower and the sentiment with Versamark and I heat embossed with white powder. I drew a dotted frame with a white pencil. And then to finish I adhered the butterfly on top of it with a glue dot.
Stamp: Uniko “Pure Florals: Chrysanthemum” & “Originally organic” (sentiment) – Dies: K-Kingdom “Butterflies” – Inks: Distress “Picked Raspberry”, Catherine Pooler “Rockin’Red” – Embellishment: Hero Arts EP “White”, Uniball “White”, Fabrico marker “black”.

Two beauties in their own right – and a fabulous twofer too. The first is so ethereal with those soft colors and light splatters. And the second is so bold and beautiful. I love how you concentrated on making that flutterby the star of the show. Thanks for joining us at CUTplorations this month.
Hi Isabelle….Love the pop of pink/red on the Kraft cardstock. Beautiful card. Thank you for sharing with us at AAA Cards. – Tracie
Two fantastic cards using this butterfly! I love the white heat embossed flower on kraft, so pretty… And the butterfly adds a lot of dimension and interest. Yet the look is very CAS and stylish! Thanks for joining us at TIME OUT!
Really love the purple butterflies with the splatters. Gorgeous clean and simple card – wondering how “clean” a card and workspace are when you have splatters – LOL! Thank you for joining us at STAMPlorations CAS.

Simply gorgeous both your butterfly cards Izzy. I love my Brusho’s and you have used my favourite colours. Stunning!
I also love kraft cards and your second butterfly pops beautifully here. Thanks for sharing with us at HLS for our AG with Dies Challenge.

What a gorgeous pair of cards Izzy and I particularly love the kraft card! The crisp embossed flower provides the perfect backdrop for your beautiful vibrant butterfly.
Thanks for sharing with us at Happy Little Stampers.
Gorgeous, Isabelle … both of them! The regal gold and purple on the first flight of butterflies is so rich and luxurious … the sense of movement you created with the delicate splatter is beautiful! Kraft and white is always a wonderful combination … and you stepped it up a notch with your bold, dramatic colouring on this striking, texture-y butterfly! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer and at Time Out! Bon dimanche! Bises et hugs, Anita 🙂
This is such a stunning card and definitely caught my eye in the Gallery!! The white of kraft creates such a gorgeous background and love how you added the dots around the edge. And your butterfly is not only a clever idea but also coloured with such vivid colours and dimension. Its a brilliant card and I’m so glad you shared it with us at TIME OUT!
These are stunning, Izzy! I love the purple tones and soft splatters on your first card and the kraft card is a great base for your vibrant butterfly on the second card. Beautiful designs x
Two fabulous cards. I love the beauty of the kraft card it really makes that butterfly pop! Thanks for playing along at AAA Cards
Oh my – both of these are lovely. I love the purple and gold combination, Izzy – they word together to create such a regal card. Thanks for entering your card in our “Make You Mark” challenge on the Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge.
Echoing the others in being dazzled by your twofer of gorgeous butterfly cards! WOW! Thrilled to see you fluttering them into the STAMPlorations and Inkspirational galleries! They’re sensational!

Wow! Both your cards are stunning. I love the simplicity of each design – the gold and purple are so elegant, and that black and red butterfly on the second card is awesome. You rocked these challenges!! xx

p.s. Eep! Sorry! I forgot to add my official thank you for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #5! Mwah! Hugs, Darnell
Oh, my goodness, Izzy, these are both winners many times over when it comes to bringing challenges together!! Your rich and elegant purple and gold butterfly family looks positively regal and perfect for an anniversary card! And your friendship card just blows me away with the large white blossom on kraft and that extraordinarily colored and dimensional butterfly! But the wowest of all is your impeccable little hand-drawn dot border! I’m in awe!! Hugs, Darnell
So love both of these cards. Great that the die cut cuts and also embosses making two very different looking cards. The first one is full of glorious colour, love the gold splats and I have never used distress inks and brusho’s together….but I will now, thank you x Loving the kraft on the second card and the attention to detail on that really pretty butterfly with the tiny white dots…makes all the difference….Stunning cards x
Those purple and gold splatters and gorgeous butterflies, what a pretty combination they are Izzy! Really beautiful! And you are using your brushos again, and once again, I feel bad that mine have not come out of the cupboard for months!! I really wish I could do CAS like you, I find it so hard, and I admire you so much that you make a card look so beautiful without completely covering it! The second card is also stunning, gorgeous design, love the white, kraft and red together. And your patience for dotting all the way around the card,! Bravo! Looks fab.
Thanks for your lovely comment on my card last night too. Don’t worry that you don’t get time, I know the feeling! I appreciate you even visiting, Lisa xx
Bises.
Hi Izzy, both the cards look fab. I can’t take my eyes off the one in kraft. Its a great idea to dry emboss your beautifully water colored butterfly and to add black outlines. The dots in white pencil on the burtterfly and the frame add so much interest to the card. I love how the dimensional butterfly sits on the white heat embossed flower. Very pretty take on the theme. Thanks for playing along with us at AAACards. Happy crafting. Hugs-Bharati
Two terrific twofers, Izzy! The purple butterflies are so rich and elegant especially with the gold. Love how you embossed and added white pen details on your other butterfly card. Great job! xx
Absolutely STUNNING cards. The poo of red colour on your birthday card on Craft card is just stunning. The purple butterflies a look so delicate. Thankyou for sharing your talent xxx
Obviously poo means POP lol. Xxx
Oh, Izzy, tes cartes sont magnifiques! The purple and gold butterflies on the birthday card look spectacular with the gold splatters! And the way you colored the butterfly on the second card really shows the embossed pattern! It looks so striking! Breath taking, both of them!
Thank you for joining us at the Twofer!
