Bonjour !
Êtes-vous prêts pour un nouveau challenge ? Alors c’est parti ! Cette semaine chez Less is More nous vous proposons un défi à thème, voyez plutôt…
Hello !
Are you ready for a new challenge? So let’s go ! This week at Less is More we propose a theme challenge, see the cue card …
I also remind you that our sponsor this month is Happy Little Stampers.
As the week has been a little hectic, I only propose you 2 cards to illustrate this challenge.
I thought that this angelic little pig would be a funny wink for this challenge.
I die cut the circle in a white cardstock, and I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment.
On the double white card, I blended 2 Distress ink to make the sky. I die cut the 2 clouds then I adhered them over the sky.
On a white paper, I stamped and heat embossed the little “angel” and I coloured it with Distress inks with a little foam applicator. Then I fussy cut it and I foam mounted it to give a little bit of dimension.
To finish, I put some foam on the back of my panel with the circle window and I adhered it onto the double card.
Stamp: MFT “Hog Heaven” – Inks: Distress “Tumbled glass, Salted ocean, Spun sugar, Picked raspberry” – Dies: SSS “Stitched circles”, Tailored Expressions “Swirly clouds”.
Challenges:
AAA cards #98 : Creatures great or small
Addicted to Stamp and More #259 : Clean and Simple
Seize the Birthday : Anything goes
2/ Toute ma tendresse / All my affection
I find it amusing that I end up making a One Layer Card (OLC) while it is not even mandatory. I think I finally end up loving it!
On a double white card, I applied different Distress ink through a circle mask to make the sky.
Then I took off the mask and thanks to the MISTI, I stamped in black, several times, the different elements.
To finish, I just stamped in black the sentiment.
Stamp: Aladine “Graminé”, Simply Graphic “planche un petit coucou” – Inks: Distress “Tumbled glass, Spun sugar, Squeezed lemonade, Spiced marmalade, Shaded lilac, Stormy sky”, Versafine “onyx black”.

Two gorgeous cards, Izzy. Loving the pig idea, perfect for this challenge. And how great that we both had the same idea with our dandelions, I did have a little chuckle when I first saw it 🙂 The colours you chose to blend within the circle are so pretty together, and thanks for also linking up at Happy Little Stampers CAS Challenge xx
Both cards are gorgeous! Thank you for joining us at the ATSM challenges. Hope to see you again soon. Nandini, DT
Two such completely different cards (aside from the circle aspect)! I just LOVE the “pigs will fly” aspect of the first card and the gorgeous little clouds that seem to suit him and the scene just perfectly (how do you always manage to get all these things so right). And I love silhouette stamping, so the second card really appeals to me – love the design and the dramatic sky. Goregous cards, Izzy, thanks as always for inspiring! Lisa x
Bises.
Such a fun little piggie card and this is such a lovely CAS design.
Thanks for sharing with us at ATSM and I hope you will play along with us again soon.
Hugs
Carol x
So pigs really do fly! Adorable card Izzy. Thanks for playing along at AAA Cards.
Bises
Another couple of inspiring cards, Izzy. Love that flying piggy… so cute. And your silhouette circle masked scene is just beautiful. Love the pretty sky colours. Great job. Have a wonderful weekend and week. Trina xx
Your flying piglet card is absolutely adorable and fun! And the OLC looks very soft and dreamy – the sentiment is perfect for it! Very inspiring! One of these days I will hopefully manage to play at LIM but I have hard time with challenges that go only for a week. Usually I am too slow…
Great CAS cards! I love the little flying pig and those die cut clouds are so sweet. Thanks for playing at AAA Cards.
Simply spectacular Izzy. Love the cute little piggy floating into the clouds – he’s jut too adorable and coloured beautifully. Followed by that awesome inky blended sky with a stunning mix of colours and the silhouette dandelion heads floating away. Brilliant ideas for the challenge and have a fabulous week.
Oh my gosh…nothing cuter than that flying pig…love those embossed clouds…just perfect!
Ohhhh! What a cute pig and a super CAS design. Thanks for playing along at AAA Cards, Izzy.
Two wonderful cards! That pig is amazingly cute and such a fun take on the challenge theme… I love your use of dies in this card! Your second card, the one layer, is a great example of your CAS designing skills -so much interest and details, great stamping! Love it!
You have spoilt us again with these two gorgeous cards. Had a laugh at the first one with the funny sentiment. Such lovely scenes you have created and beautiful blending. Fabulous cards, thank you x
Fab inspiration from you again this week Izzy. Your flying pig is so much fun (love those clouds) but your second card has blown me away. Such a peaceful and tranquil little scene in the circle with some beautiful shades of ink. There’s always something really classy about silhouettes, isn’t there. Have a brilliant week. xx
Oh I just LOVE that dear little piggy!! Both of your cards are equally lovely. Tfs
These are both wonderful, Izzy! I had to laugh when I saw your cute flying pig – such a fun take on the challenge – and your second card is just so elegant and serene. Two very different interpretations of the same challenge but both beautifully done x
