Bonjour !
Hello !
I hope you are having a great weekend ! I received, two days ago, my latest order from Uniko and I couldn’t wait to use this gorgeous set of stamps and dies ! I also had in mind the wonderful combo of colours from CAS Colours & Sketch and the superb sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch designed by the talented Hannelie from Desert Diva….
…. alors voici ma carte !
…. so here is my card !
I first created the background on a watercolor paper with 2 colors of brushos in order to get the indigo blue of the required combo. I then cut the tiles with a rectangle die.
On a watercolor paper I stamped the different parts of the image with black ink and I heat embossed with clear powder. Then I watercoloured each part with Distress inks and a brush.
I die cut each element with the matching dies except for the stem that I created and fussy cut.
Before mounting the different elements on the double white card, I stamped the sentiment in black and I heat embossed.
To finish, I foam mounted the tiles on a white double card, according the sketch of CAS(E) this Sketch. Then I adhered the different parts of the flower over. And Voilà ! I’m rather happy with the result !

Wonderful card! You have inspired me!!!
Those bold brusho background panels are gorgeous, Isabelle … luscious with the vibrant gerbera! I have this stamp and die set and don’t use it often enough … thanks for the inspiration! Bises, Anita 🙂
Beautiful flower and great background. Love the design of your card. Thanks for joining us at Seize the Birthday.
Beautiful take on the sketch!
And you should be happy with the result, it’s a beautiful card Izzy. Love the brusho tiles as the background and of course the gorgeous flower steals the show. Isn’t it great that it is just the perfect size that flower against the tiles? I always love how you get your brusho results, still something I struggle with as mine tend to merge a lot and I don’t get the gorgeous distinction that you get. I will have to try again! Another lovely creation, you are so talented! Hugs, Lisa x
Beautiful card; love the watercolor mosaic background! Thanks for playing along with us at CC&S!
