Hourra, c’est l’été ! Enfin, ici en France, depuis plusieurs jours c’est même la canicule ! Dehors c’est insupportable, il fait plus de 37 degrés (C) et la nuit c’est tout juste si ça baisse ! Heureusement la météo prévoit des températures normales de saison les jours qui viennent !

Hurrah, it’s summer ! Well, here in France, since a few days it is even the heat wave ! Outside it’s unbearable, it’s over 37 degrees (C) and at night it hardly drops down! Fortunately they forecast normal seasonal temperatures in the days ahead!
Je voulais juste faire une carte rapide pour fêter cette magnifique saison qui signifie (normalement) beau temps, chaleur, vacances, longues journées, barbecue, mer…et tant d’autres choses ! En faisant un petit tour sur les différents challenges, voici la carte qui en résulte !
I just wanted to make a quick card to celebrate this wonderful season which means (normally) good weather, warmth, holidays, long days, barbecue, sea … and so much more! By taking a tour of the various challenges, here is the resulting card!
Sur une double carte blanche j’ai tamponné en noir et embossé à chaud l’image. Avec des feutres Fabrico je l’ai colorée. J’ai choisi les couleurs du challenge #448 de Color Throwdown qui sont violet, vert menthe, rose vif et bleu Sarcelle.
On a double white card I stamped in black and I heat embossed the image. I coloured it with Fabrico markers. I chose the colours from the challenge #448 of Color Throwdown which are purple, mint green, hot pink and teal.
Avec un set de tampons Alphabet j’ai tamponné le texte au dessus et je l’ai embossé à chaud. Et pour finir j’ai mis un peu de Wink of Stella sur les différents motifs de l’image pour donner un peu plus de brillance, comme un jour d’été !
With an Alphabet stamps set I stamped the text above the image and I heat embossed it. And to finish, I brushed a bit of Wink of Stella over the different parts of the image to give a bit more of shimmer, like a summer day !
Et voilà ! Une carte simple et rapide à faire ! L’avantage de ce tampon c’est qu’on peut le colorer à volonté !
And Voilà ! An easy card and quick to do ! The advantage of this stamp is that it can be colored at will!

A perfect summer card, I have not heard of this stamp company before. Love the colour palette too, perfect for those hot sunny days – and we have had a little too many of those recently. We had 34 degrees here in the UK, very hot for us, but now it has cooled. Love the little “hurrah it’s” addition too – that stampset is on my wish list which has about 1000 items on it! LOL xx

I’m cheering your sentiment here, Isabelle … hurrah, it’s summer! What a fabulous take on our ‘celebration’ theme … your bright, vibrant and fabulous colouring evokes thoughts of lazy, hazy summer days at the beach … brilliant! Temperatures have finally begun to cool a little here … we reached over 40C during the days … and with 32C during the nights, there was little to do but melt!! This card is right up my alley Izzy!!! I work in a school and am now free for the summer, and I have already been to the beach 3 times. I just love all of the summer icons put together with the word “summer”. The color palate is perfect,and I love the words you added with the alphabet set. Fabulous!
