Less is More Week #333 – Personalise it

Bonjour !

Hello !

We have a new challenge for you at Less is More ! This is our Theme week and this week we’d like to see cards that you have made specially for one (or several) person(s) and that you have personalised !

When I saw this theme, at first I really did not know what I could do, but in the end, I finally managed to do 3 cards.

It occurs that my parents celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary in September, so it was a perfect opportunity to make a special card for them.

The 60 years of marriage means diamond wedding. To illustrate the diamond I used a silver embossing, vellum and some rhinestones.

To make this card, I first stamped the heart on a paper and I fussy cut it to use it as a model.

On a double white card, I stamped the heart with Versamark and I heat embossed with silver powder. Then I stamped it again on a Vellum which has the same size as the card, and I also heat embossed it with silver powder. I stamped the other elements (sentiment, names and corners) on the top of the card and I heat embossed them.

To create the number 60, on a white paper I stamped the pattern with lots of little triangles (diamond shape) with a shimmering silver ink. Then I used a die cut to make the numbers (x2).

Finally, I adhered the Vellum inside the card and I adhered over another white cardstock in which I previously cut the heart shape. So that the inside is also neat. I also adhered inside the double of the numbers to hide the glue. Then I glued a rhinestone to each corner.

Stamp: UNIKO “Originally organic additions”, Concord & 9th “Perfectly penned”, Simply Graphic “Planche anniversaire” – Inks: Versamark, Brilliance “Mineral” – Die: QuicKutz “Chandelier”.

2/ Passe une bonne journée mon amie / Enjoy your day my friend

It was the birthday of my childhood friend in early June. And I know she loves daisies and ladybirds.

I embossed a square of white cardstock with a die cut. I stamped the sentiment in black and I heat embossed with clear powder. In another cardstock I cut with a die cut the daisy. With Promarkers I colorized the heart in two shades of yellow then on the smallest round I made small dots with a Triplus Fineliner pen. In a green cardstock I die cut the two leaves. I adhered the flower and the leaves on the white card then I foam mounted  the whole set on the double green card. Finally I glued a small wooden ladybug on which I put a layer of Glossy Accent.

Stamp:  Simply Graphic “Planche un petit coucou”, CAS-ual Fridays “Mon ami” – Inks: Versafine “Onyx Black” – Die: QuicKutz “flower set”, “Leaves”, “Small leaves”, MFT “Basic stitch lines” – Markers: Promarker “Sunflower & Gold”, Triplus fineliner.

This last card I owe it to my niece who asked me to make her a congratulations card for friends who are getting married in July.

Voici le faire-part.

Here is the announcement.

I took the same set of stamps as for my first card because I found that it corresponded completely to the announcement.

So on a double card in kraft I stamped the image in white and I heat embossed with clear powder. I added the initials of the bride and groom in the middle. Then I stamped the sentiment in black and I heat embossed. Finally I marked the dotted lines all around the card with a die.

It’s funny how a stamp looks very different depending on the support and colors chosen!

Stamp: UNIKO “Originally organic additions”,  Simply Graphic “Planche félicitations”, Concord & 9th “Perfectly penned” – Inks: Versamark, Versafine “Onyx Black” – Die: MFT “Basic stitch lines”- Embellishment: Hero Arts “White embossing powder”, clear embossing powder.
