Bonjour !
Hello !
As I told you yesterday, I LOVE the colours combo proposed by Just Us Girls challenge #394 : Lime Green, Turquoise and Navy. So it’s with my scraps from my yesterday’s tests that I come back to you today with a new card. This time, I combine the colours with the sketch of the new CAS Colours & Sketches challenge #224 and still together with the butterfly theme of the Paper Players challenge #345.
Voici ma carte / Here is my card
With a two layers die, I first die cut the background of the butterfly in a leftover of the marble paper that I made yesterday with the shaving cream technique. Then I die cut the top part in a Lime green paper. I mounted the two parts together in the center of the butterfly body.
I cut a stripe of green paper on which I adhered a stripe of washi tape which has exactly the colours of the challenge. Then I adhered the stripe on a double Navy card. I stamped the sentiment with Versamark and I heat embossed with Turquoise powder.
To finish I adhered the butterfly to the card base with a Glue Dot and I only added a blue gemstone on the head. And Voilà ! A simple card and quick to make. Due to its colours I also enter this card in the Male Room challenge #61.
