I’m back with a reminder post for challenge #72 at Day of the Month Card Club and its Panda theme.

Feeding the Forest Animals Day

Bien sûr je n’ai pas pu résister à utiliser cet adorable tampon de Colorado Craft Company par Anita Jeram pour illustrer ce thème.

Of course I couldn’t resist using this adorable stamp from Colorado Craft Company by Anita Jeram to illustrate this theme.

Voici ma carte / Here is my card

Je ne sais pas ce que font les animaux de la forêt pour la Saint Valentin, mais moi j’ai imaginé cette petite hérisonne qui visualise son cher et tendre recevoir sa carte de Saint Valentin.

I don’t know what the forest animals do for Valentine’s, but I imagined this adorable hedgehog visualising her sweet heart receiving his Valentine’s card.

J’ai commencé par découper un carré dans du papier blanc, puis j’ai découpé les bords avec une matrice “coeur”.

I started by cutting a square in a white card stock, then I used a heart border die to cut the edges.

À l’aide d’un masque j’ai créé la petite scène en bas à gauche puis je l’ai colorée avec des crayons de couleur et des encres.

With the help of masking, I created the little scene in the left bottom corner, and I coloured it with coloured pencils and inks.

Dans un morceau de papier blanc, j’ai découpé un coeur avec une matrice puis j’ai tamponné dessus les autres hérissons. Je les ai masqués pour faire le fond rose puis je les ai ensuite colorés avec des crayons de couleur. J’ai collé ce coeur sur l’image.

In a white card stock I die cut a heart then I stamped the other hedgehogs on top. I masked them to make the pink background then I coloured them with coloured pencils. I glued this heart on the image.

Pour finir, j’ai tamponné le sentiment et j’ai collé l’image sur une double carte blanche avec de la mousse adhésive.

To finish, I stamped the sentiment and I foam mounted the image on a double white card.

Stamp: Colorado Craft Company “Anita Jeram – Hedgehog Day”, “Anita Jeram – Greener Grass” & “Anita Jeram – Forever Foxes” (sentiment) – Inks: Distress “Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, Mowed Lawn”, Altenew “Sea Breeze” – Coloured Pencils: Faber-Castell Polychromos “#132, 103, 271, 272, 273, 124, 266, 107, 145, 169, 182” – Dies: K-Kingdom “Hearts”, and the border with hearts (no brand).
