“Background Builders – Flower Power” & “Flower Power #11”

Comme je vous le disais dans mon précédent post, les tampons du set Background Builders – Flower Power sont souples et flexibles ce qui m’a donné envie d’essayer de faire une carte à bascule pour les mettre en valeur.

As I told you in my previous post, the stamps in the Background Builders – Flower Power set are soft and flexible which made me want to try to make a rocker card to highlight them.

J’ai utilisé l’outil de découpe circulaire de Martha Stewart pour découper la base de la carte que j’ai ensuite plier en deux. Puis sur l’une des faces, j’ai tamponné 3 des 5 tampons avec de l’encre Kaleidacolor.

I used Martha Stewart’s circle cutting tool to cut out the base of the card which I then folded in half. Then on one side, I stamped 3 out of 5 stamps with Kaleidacolor ink.

Avec une matrice de découpe j’ai découpé un petit cercle sur lequel j’ai tamponné plusieurs fois la fleur du set Flower Power #11 toujours avec la même encre. Je l’ai collé sur la carte.

With a circular die, I cut a smaller circle on which I stamped several times the flower from the Flower Power #11 set and still with the same ink. I adhered it on the card.

Pour finir, j’ai découpé encore un plus petit cercle sur lequel j’ai tamponné le sentiment, puis je l’ai collé sur la carte.

To finish, I die cut a smaller circle on which I stamped the sentiment then I glued it on the card.

J’ai dans mon stock des encres que je n’utilise presque jamais car elles ne s’utilisent que sur des fonds sombres pour qu’on les voit. Elles me semblent parfaites pour mettre en valeur ce pochoir puisqu’elles sont légèrement irisées voire métallisées.

I have in my stash some inks that I almost never use because they are only used on dark backgrounds so that they can be seen. They seem perfect to me to highlight this stencil since they are slightly iridescent or even metallic.

Pour finir, j’ai tamponné le sentiment puis je l’ai embossé avec de la poudre argentée.

To finish, I stamped the sentiment and I heat embossed it with silver embossing powder.

Ink: Opalite “Sterling Frost, Glacier Blue” – Embossing Powder: Hero Arts “Silver”.

Cette fois-ci j’ai utilisé les 4 couches de pochoirs pour faire cette carte et j’adore ! C’est tellement simple et le rendu et si joli. Et bien sûr il est déclinable à l’infini avec toutes les couleurs que vous voulez.

This time I used the 4 layers to make this card and I love it ! It’s so simple and the result is so pretty. And of course it can be used in infinite ways with all the colours you want.

Pour finir j’ai juste collé cette image sur une double carte rose et j’ai tamponné et embossé en blanc le sentiment sur une bande de ce même papier rose.

To finish, I just flat adhered this image on a double pink card and I stamped and I white heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of the same pink card stock.

Inks: Distress “Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Mowed Lawn”, Catherine Pooler “Limoncello”, Altenew “Parrot” – Stamp: Uniko “Everyday Love Sentiments” & “Everyday Spring Sentiments”.

“Mid Century Modern Circles & Stars” 

Pour ma dernière carte, j’ai utilisé le nouveau pochoir de la collection Mid Century Modern avec un dégradé de couleurs arc-en-ciel. J’ai collé cette image sur une feuille noire avant de la coller sur une double carte blanche.

For my last card, I used the new stencil of the Mid Century Modern collection with a rainbow colour gradient. I glued this image onto a black sheet before gluing it onto a double white card.

Pour le sentiment j’ai utilisé le set Big & Bold Happy, matrices et tampons.

Inks: Distress “Kitsch Flamingo, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feather, Wilted Violet”.
