Il faut bien que les insomnies servent à quelque chose ! La dernière que j’ai faite m’a permis de penser à cette carte et le lendemain il a fallu que je la fasse.

Insomnia must be good for something! The last one I did made me think of this card and the next day I had to do it.

Alors que je pensais aux tampons d’Uniko que j’ai pour faire une carte de Noël, j’ai imaginé ce tampon de fond combiné avec cet adorable lièvre et sa branche de houx d’Anita Jeram.

While I was thinking about the Uniko’s stamps that I have in my stash to make Christmas cards, I imagined this background stamp combined with this adorable hare with its holly branch from Anita Jeram.

Sur du papier aquarelle, j’ai tamponné l’arrière plan et je l’ai coloré avec des encres Distress en guise d’aquarelle. J’ai fait de même pour l’illustration.

On a watercolour paper, I stamped the background and I coloured it with Distress inks as watercolour. I made the same for the illustration.

J’ai collé le fond sur un papier doré puis j’ai collé l’ensemble sur une double carte noire.

I flat adhered the background on a piece of gold card stock then I glued everything on a double black card.

J’ai découpé l’illustration avec une matrice ovale, je l’ai collé ensuite sur un papier oval noir légèrement plus grand puis j’ai collé l’ensemble sur la carte avec de la mousse adhésive.

I cut the illustration with an oval die, I matted it onto an oval black paper slightly bigger then I foam mounted everything on the card.

Pour finir, j’ai utilisé la machine Hot Foil pour faire le sentiment sur du papier noir que j’ai aussi collé avec de la mousse adhésive.

To finish, I used the Hot Foil System machine to make the sentiment on black card stock and I also foam mounted it on the card.

Et voilà ! J’aime assez le résultat. C’est amusant de voir comment deux cartes peuvent être différentes seulement avec de minimes changements.

Et voilà ! I like the result. It’s funny how two cards can be different with just minimal changes.
