Bonjour !
Hello !
I have been the lucky winner of the June challenge at CAS Watercolour with THIS card and today I’m very honoured to be the Guest Designer of Bonnie, Loll and their team for the month of August !
The theme for this month is Sunflower and here is my card.
I started by die cutting the frame with the sunflower in a white card stock. Then I cut a watercolour paper with the same size and I put the die cut over the panel to draw the borders of the flower with a watercolour pencil in order to make the yellow-orange shades and the heart of the sunflower.
Then I played with my Brushos until to be happy with the result.
Once dry, I adhered the watercolour panel over a double white card then I glued the white sunflower die cut on top of it.
To finish, I stamped the sentiment in grey.
And Voilà ! This card is already on its way to Granada to thank the aunt (a florist !) of my daughter’s friend, who has welcomed them during ten days beginning of July !

A beautiful Brusho background to accompany your pretty sunflower frame Izzy and love that stylish sentiment to finish. x
Congratulations on your Guest Designer spot at CAS Watercolour Challenge this month, Izzy! Gorgeous Brusho sunflower with wonderful shades of yellow and orange. You have an artistic eye – adding Olive Green to the heart of the sunflower. The simple flowing sentiment is perfect for this wonderful CAS card too. Hideko xx
You know I always love it when your brusho comes out! Everything you make with it I adore! You seem to have so much control with it, I just don’t get that control and often it just ends up a mess. And what a pretty die too, these frame dies are really versatile and it looks fabulous with all the beautiful brusho behind. Inspiring! Thanks also for your lovely comment about my guest video, truly a humbling experience and slightly terrifying but amazing at the same time! Hugs to you Izzy xx
Such a glorious effect with those brusho’s….such a happy and vibrant card. Congratulations on guesting with this stunning card x.
