Here I am with a new challenge over at Addicted to Stamp and More with your favourite theme…

Voici ma carte / Here is my card

Pour cette carte, j’ai utilisé la technique du “Monoprint au pochoir” que la magnifique équipe de Group of Seven Cardmakers partage pour le mois d’Octobre. Je vous invite à aller découvrir toutes les merveilleuses cartes qu’elles ont faites avec cette technique.

For this card, I used the “Stencil Monoprint” technique that the wonderful ladies from Group of Seven Cardmakers are sharing this month. I invite you to go and discover all the beautiful cards they have made with this technique.

Pour l’occasion, j’ai ressorti mes poudres Brushos. Sur du papier multimédia j’ai mis mon pochoir et j’ai saupoudré les poudres Brushos dessus. J’ai ensuite vaporisé de l’eau pour les diluer. J’ai créé ainsi un positif du pochoir que j’utiliserai pour faire une autre carte.

For the occasion, I took out my Brushos powders. On multimedia paper I put my stencil and sprinkled the Brushos powders on it. I then sprayed water to dilute them. I then created a positive of the stencil that I will use for another card.

Mais pour cette carte j’ai utilisé le négatif aussi appelé monoprint. Pour cela j’ai tout simplement retourné le pochoir imbibé de pigments sur un autre papier multimédia et j’ai appuyé dessus avec un papier absorbant, j’ai laissé sécher puis j’ai collé ce fond sur une double carte blanche.

But for this card I used the negative also called monoprint. For this I simply turned the stencil soaked in pigments onto another multimedia paper and pressed on it with absorbent paper, I let it dry then I adhered this background on a double white card.

Pour finir ma carte, j’ai utilisé pour la toute première fois, ma machine Hot Foil (que mon cher et tendre m’a offert pour mon anniversaire) pour faire le sentiment sur du papier noir que j’ai ensuite découpé à la main et collé sur la double carte.

To finish my card, I used for the very first time, my Hot Foil System machine (that my sweet hubby offered me for my birthday) to make the sentiment on black paper that I fussy cut and glued on the double card.
