La semaine You’re Going to Flip chez Uniko continue, et aujourd’hui toute l’équipe revisite le pochoir Ink & Flip Geometric Heart Layering.

The You’re Going to Flip week goes on overt at Uniko, and today the whole team revisits the Ink & Flip Geometric Heart Layering stencil.

Voici ma carte / Here’s my card

Changement de couleurs aujourd’hui, et comme par enchantement je me suis dirigée vers du bleu pour cette carte. Il y a deux pochoirs dans le set, un pour les bandes du contour et un deuxième pour la partie centrale et les motifs du coeur.

Change of colours today, and as if by magic I went towards blue for this card. There are two stencils in this set, one for the stripes around the heart, and a second one for the central part and the heart patterns.

J’ai commencé avec le premier pochoir pour faire les bandes bleues qui contournent le coeur avec des encres Distress Oxide.

I started with the first stencil to make the blue stripes all around the heart with Distress oxide inks.

Pour le coeur en lui même, j’ai bien utilisé la technique Ink & Flip mais après avoir retourné le pochoir, je n’ai pas encré de nouveau. À la place, j’ai utilisé ce pochoir pour embosser une partie des motifs (passer votre curseur sur la petite image pour l’agrandir).

For the heart itself, I used the Ink & Flip technique but after turning the stencil over, I did not ink again. Instead, I used this stencil to emboss part of the designs (hover your cursor over the small image to enlarge it).

Une fois l’encre bien sèche et après avoir mis de la poudre anti-statique, j’ai tamponné le sentiment et je l’ai embossé en blanc.

Once the ink was completely dry and after applying anti-static powder, I stamped the sentiment and I embossed it in white.

Pour finir, j’ai collé cette image sur une double carte bleu foncé.

To finish, I flat adhered this image on a double dark blue card.
