I’m excited to be guest designing today at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown for their April challenge with the theme : Santa. Thanks to all the team for welcoming me over !
Un thème qui en inspirera plus d’un je suis sure ! Et voilà comment moi j’ai été inspirée.
A theme that will inspire more than one I’m sure ! And here is how I’ve been inspired.
Afin de mettre cet adorable père Noël en valeur, j’ai choisi un papier vert foncé comme fond, sur lequel j’ai tamponné et embossé avec de la poudre or tout un block. Puis sur un morceau de papier blanc, j’ai tamponné et embossé le père Noël.
In order to highlight this adorable Santa, I chose a dark green card stock for the background and I stamped and gold heat embossed a Christmas block on top. Then on a piece of white card stock I stamped and heat embossed Santa.
J’ai ensuite mis de la couleur sur quelques parties du fond vert avec des crayons de couleur et j’ai coloré le père Noël.
Then I coloured some parts of the green background as well as Santa with coloured pencils.
Sur une double carte blanche, j’ai collé le fond vert puis après avoir découpé le père Noël à la main, je l’ai collé sur le fond avec de la mousse adhésive.
On a double white card, I flat adhered the green background and after fussy cutting Santa, I foam mounted it on top.
