Je ne sais pas pour vous mais je peux vous dire qu’ici il fait très chaud donc les fruits sont les bienvenus pour se rafraîchir et essentiellement ceux qui ont beaucoup d’eau comme le melon et la pastèque !

I don’t know for you but I can tell you that here it is very hot so fruits are very welcome to refresh ourself and essentially those which have a lot of water such as melon and watermelon !
Le thème du défi du mois d’Août chez Day of the Month Card club est justement la pastèque. Alors quand j’ai vu la nouvelle image digitale que Gerda Steiner a créée, je n’ai pas pu résister à la mettre en scène.
The theme of the August challenge at Day of the Month Card club is precisely watermelon. So when I saw the new digital image that Gerda Steiner created, I couldn’t resist using it.

Cet adorable crocodile se fait prendre en mangeant de la pastèque! Pour le mettre encore plus en valeur, j’ai créé un point de lumière sur une double carte noire avec un pochoir et une encre jaune Distress Oxide.
This adorable crocodile is caught by eating watermelon ! To highlight it even more, I created a spotlight on a double black card with a stencil and yellow Distress Oxide ink.
Comme je voulais encore plus de pastèque dans cette scène, j’ai tamponné deux morceaux sur du papier blanc, je les ai découpés et collés sur la double carte noire avant de coller le crocodile avec de la mousse adhésive.
As I wanted even more watermelon in this scene, I stamped two pieces on white paper, cut them out and glued them onto the double black card before gluing the crocodile with adhesive foam.
Pour finir j’ai tamponné et embossé en blanc le sentiment.
To finish I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment.
Et voilà ! N’est-ce pas qu’il est drôle ce crocodile ?
Et voilà ! Isn’t it funny this crocodile ?
