Bonjour !

Le week-end de Pâques, la fille de nos amis a eu 18 ans. Elle aurait dû fêter cet heureux événement pendant tout le week-end avec ses amis et sa famille mais malheureusement elle n’a pas pu le faire à cause du confinement.

Hello !

Our friends’ daughter turned 18 on Easter weekend. She should have celebrated this happy event all weekend long with her friends and family, but unfortunately she couldn’t do so because of the containment.

Voici la carte que j’avais préparée afin que tout le monde puisse lui écrire un mot. Elle n’aura eu que nos 4 voeux (mon mari, mes 2 ados et moi) mais j’espère qu’elle lui aura au moins mis du baume au coeur.

Here is the card I had prepared so that everyone could write her a note. She will have had only our 4 wishes (my husband, my 2 teenagers and I) but I hope that at least it will have added a smile to her face.

Comme vous pouvez l’imaginé, j’ai utilisé beaucoup de masques pour faire cette carte. J’ai tout d’abord créer le premier plan en tamponnant l’herbe et les animaux, que j’ai ensuite coloré et découpé à la main.

 

As you can imagine, I used a lot of masks to make this card. I first created the foreground by stamping the grass and the critters, then I coloured everything and I fussy cut it.

J’ai ensuite créé directement sur la double carte, le ciel avec le cochon et le ballon. Pour cela j’ai d’abord tamponné le cochon et le ballon. Je les ai coloré et je les ai ensuite masqués pour pouvoir faire le ciel avec un pochoir. J’ai retiré les masques et j’ai tamponné le sentiment.

Then I created directly onto the double card, the sky with the pig and the balloon. To do it I first stamped the pig and the balloon. I coloured them and then I masked them to be able to make the sky with a stencil. I removed the masks and I stamped the sentiment.

Sur un morceau de papier blanc que j’ai pris soin de déchirer sur le bord, j’ai tamponné le mur de briques en gris. Puis je l’ai collé à plat sur la double carte. J’ai pris soin de vérifier où aller se trouver le pinceau du lapin, puis  j’ai tamponné le prénom. J’ai aussi dessiné une échelle pour donner l’illusion.

On a piece of white card stock that I took care to torn at the top edge, I stamped the brick wall in grey. Then I flat adhered it on the double card. I took care to check where the bunny’s brush would be, then I stamped the first name. I also drew a ladder to give the illusion.

Pour finir, j’ai tamponné une poule sur un morceau de papier, je l’ai colorée, découpé à la main et je l’ai collée en haut du mur. Puis j’ai collé la bande avec tous les animaux sur la double carte avec de la mousse adhésive.

To finish, I stamped an hen on a scrap of paper, I coloured it, fussy cut it and I flat glued it at the top of the wall. Then I foam mounted the stripe with all the critters on the double card.
