Addicted to Stamps and More #378 – Holiday

Bonjour !

Hello !

Today it’s Wednesday, and there is a new challenge that starts at Addicted to Stamps and More and the theme is…Holiday. Even if spring and Easter holidays are closer, it’s never too early to make a Christmas card !

Update : Happy and honoured to be one of the Top 3 over at Di’s Digi Challenge.

Happy and honoured to be one of the Top Pick over at Christmas 24 challenge.

Last year I won a gift voucher for the Di’s Digi Stamps website and I chose this adorable image. The ideal opportunity to colour it with this new Addicted to Stamps and More challenge.

I dry embossed a white card stock with an embossing folder to make the background of the image and I adhered it to the double white card.

I printed the image on a white card stock and as I only have an ink jet printer, I had to colour it with colour pencils.

Once coloured, I cut the image with a die that that reminds me of the borders of postage stamps. Then I foam mounted it on the double card. To finish I stamped the sentiment.

And Voilà for me !  And do not forget to see the wonderful creations of my “teamies” on the main blog HERE and on their blog where you can leave them a lovely comment ! 😉

  2. Agree it is never too early to make a Christmas card! Although I don’t expect I will for a while. What an adorable little scene Izzy, super cute. Also wanted to pop in and say thank you so much for the lovely birthday card, such a nice surprise to hear from you and of course, I loved your beautiful coloured flowers! Wishing you a great weekend, pouring with rain again here in the UK! Lisa xx

  3. This is so adorable!! Such a sweet image and I love the die you used to cut it out; it definitely looks like a postage stamp edge. Love the white on white background, too; it really lets the image shine. Thanks for playing with Di’s Digi Designs.

  4. Oh my gosh, Izzy! Your card melted my heart. I can see why you picked this digi image for your prize win. Beautiful pencil colouring and the postage die is perfect. Love it!
