Bonjour !
Hello !
I’m back today with a new challenge over at Papercraft Challenges and I’m sure that you will love the theme that we propose you : Wintertime !
As usual you have two weeks to enter the challenge and may be you will be the happy winner of the surprise.
Voici ma carte / Here is my card
This little penguin is so adorable that I did not resist ! As it is well armed against the cold with its scarf and cap, I made him a winter environment !
I started by die cutting a square then I stamped the penguin on a masking paper and on this square. I masked the penguin and I stamped the firs forest by using two shades of green and the Second Generation Stamping Technique.
I took off the masking paper and I coloured the image with colour pencils. For the pattern of the gift, I used a stencil. I stamped the sentiment on a double white card and I foam mounted the image on the double card. To finish I made the falling snow with a brush and white acrylic paint.

Absolutely adorable and super cute, Izzy!
What a gorgeous wintery scene, Izzy … the subtle shimmer in the background forest is fabulous, there’s so much depth to it … that little gift-bearing penguin is just adorable set against it! Bises et hugs, Anita 🙂
Ah, what a cutie! Awesome coloring job and love the scene you made with the forest and falling snow. Thanks for joining our Christmas challenge at Inkspirational.
Just love that penguin, so sweet! Great coloring too!
Wonderful how you put this adorable scene together. Great masking, great stamping and colouring and love how you’ve used a stencil on the gift. One very cute card and absolutely wonderful x.
A perfectly cute wintertime card Izzy – gorgeous little scene, especially love the firs behind with the second generation stamping. They look like they have lots of depth and they are the perfect backdrop for your colourful penguin and his present! I love penguins at Christmas – but I don’t think I have seen this stamp before – really cute! Thank you as always for sharing your talent with us, Lisa xx
