Bonjour !
Hello !
Today a new challenge starts at Papercraft Challenges and the theme is Dic cuts & Punches.
And of course there is a surprise to win. As usual, you have two weeks to enter the challenge.
Voici ma carte / Here is my card
The Christmas season is fast approaching so I chose this theme to make my card.
I also wanted to play with alcohol inks and the Tim Holtz new product that enables to lift ink from background made with alcohol inks.
On a foam applicator I put some Alcohol inks and a little bit of blending solution, then I gently tapped over a Yupo paper. Once dried, I used a snowflakes background stamp on which I had put some alcohol lift-ink and I stamped it on the blue background.
Then with dies I made the frame and the snowy slopes. For the penguin, I used a puncher.
I foam mounted the scene and the sentiment, die cut in the blue background leftovers, is glued on the double white card.
And Voilà for me ! I hope that my card will inspire you and you will find even more inspiration with my teamies’ cards HERE.

You have created such a lovely scene here Isabelle and the little penguin is adorable with the sweet googly eyes!
Thanks for sharing with us at Happy Little Stampers.
How adorable! And your alcohol lift technique worked brilliantly on this card – such a sweet card Izzy! I have a love/hate relationship with alcohol inks – I really haven’t spent enough time playing with them I don’t think and I don’t have any of the lift off ink to try – it does look interesting though so maybe I will get some. Your little penguin looks so happy in his snowy landscape and that’s a useful punch to have in your stash – I always have to stamp and colour my penguins. I must invest in more dies, it would save a lot of time! Thanks as always for sharing your cards with us – I do look at all your posts, just don’t always get a chance to comment. Have a great weekend my friend xx
Fun card with the owl punch, great idea 🙂 I love your AI lift background. thanks for joining us at CAS Christmas.
The penguin is adorable and the snowy sky is fantastic, Izzy! The alcohol lift was the perfect technique for snowflakes! Thanks so much for sharing this with us at CAS Christmas!
So adorable, Isabelle … the gorgeous snowflake sky makes for such a delicious background for this fun, googly eyed penguin!
Adorable card Izzy! LOVE that gorgeous and saturated colours from your AI background. The snowflakes worked perfectly lifting the colour. What a great design. Fun snow hills and that penguin made from the owl punch. Very clever and fun!! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Christmas! xx
Cute penguin owl, Izzy! Love the vibrant colour of your background… blue is my favourite colour! Great job with the alcohol lift technique, too. Thanks for joining us at CAS Christmas Bird challenge. xx
and… happy belated birthday! 🎉🎈🎁🛍🎂
Love the vibrant blue background and what a fabulous lift off technique. That’s one cute little penguin and the sentiment in the blue looks great. Fabulous card x.
