Our September sponsor is CAS-ual Fridays and our Guest Designer is my dear teamie from Uniko, Julie Beech, our July winner. Thank you for visiting her blog and leave her a nice comment.
1/ Merci (using sponsor stamp)
On a double grey card, I stamped with grey ink the pretty flower from our sponsor then I coloured it with colour pencils.
I made a mask with a post-it note and I stamped the leaves, then I coloured them.
To finish, I stamped the sentiment in grey, and I underlined it with a white pencil to give a little bit of dimension.
Stamps: CAS-ual Fridays “mon ami”, Simply Graphic ” planche remerciement” (sentiment) – Pencils: Faber-Castell polychromos “#101, 132, 130, 124, 125, 205, 171, 166, 163” – Inks : Altenew “Silver stone”.
Challenge :
CAS on Friday #141 – Flowers
STAMPlorations Summer CAS card
2/ Happy birthday
For this card, I get inspired with Tracey McNeely’s beautiful card from the current challenge at Muse.
I used a layering stamp set. I love the look of the outlines in black with one of the layer in colour.
I also kept the idea of the corner stamping and of using a bold sentiment.
Stamps: Catherine Pooler “Wonderful wildflower”, Uniko “Birthday sentiments” – Inks : Catherine Pooler “Aquatini, All that jazz, It’s a girl, Party dress, Flirty fuchsia”.
Challenges:
Muse challenge #282
Watercooler Wednesday Challenge #187 – All about occasions
Seize the birthday – Anything goes birthday
3/ Happy anniversary
In 15 days my parents will celebrate their sixty-first wedding anniversary. I wanted something simple and soft, so I used a stencil to emboss the top of my card. I then left it in place and I just put Distress ink on it, softening the color more and more.
To finish I stamped the sentiment in black, and that’s it !

Gorgeous cards Izzy, the one you shared at THE FLOWER CHALLENGE is beautifully done, love the soft way you sponged this lovely yellow on your embossed panel.

A post filled with beautiful flower cards! I’m in awe of your fantastic pencil coloring on your first card!
Three amazing cards, Izzy! I’m especially in love with the third one… That dry embossed and inked flower is so gorgeous and perfect for a one layer design -so much dimension and detail! I also love the style of the stamps in your second card -I think I’ve never seen this set before! Great job with pencil coloring too in your first card. So much inspiration here! xxx
Gorgeous, Isabelle … all three! Fabulous colouring on that single blossom, so striking against the grey … a wonderfully loose and artsy scattering of blooms … and just the loveliest golden, textured bloom for your parents’ 61st wedding anniversary, they’ll love it, I do! Congratulations to them on such a milestone! Bises et hugs, Anita 🙂
Very pretty cards. Thanks for sharing your lovely birthday card with us at Seize the Birthday.
Such a pretty grouping of blooms! The little splashes of colour are so effective against the white background. Thanks for joining us at Watercooler Wednesday.
Izzy all of your cards are fabulous as always! Love the cluster of unconnected flowers for your Muse card. Thank you for sharing with us at Muse this week!
Magnifique galerie Izzy !

Three fab floral creations Izzy. Must make more use of my pencils, I tend to forget about them!
Thanks for inviting me to be GD this time. 🙂
As always Izzy, beautiful cards. I saw Tracey’s card on Instagram and agree it is beautiful, and I love your version of it too! All that delicious white space and the arty feel of partial colouring, its a dream choice! I wish your mum and dad a happy anniversary, I am sure they will love that super pretty stencilled card with that gorgeous ombre yellow 😍😍😍! And thank you for the reminder to emboss with a stencil as I have not done that in a while. Sorry Ive been so absent, life has been hectic and I am so behind with blogs 🙁 Lisa xx
Beautiful partial colouring with those flowers – The open space gives such a fresh, clean feel! Thanks so much for joining us at Muse this week!
Three amazing one layer cards, Izzy! I wanted to use that Mon Ami stamp for my card, but you beat me to it! Your gorgeous pencil colouring and shading makes it pop beautifully on the grey card base. The second card I recognized immediately and is a perfect take on Tracey’s Muse card. Your final are is fantastic. The ink blending is so soft and pretty… your parents (wow! 61st anniversary) are going to LOVE it. Congrats to your parents! Very inspiring as always. Have a wonderful week! xx
You had me a color pencils with your first card!!!! 2nd card is super cute and fun with spots of colors! Loved how you explained leaving the impression in the stencil while inking it!!!!
Ah, Isabelle, such lovely cards! I love the layering and lovely colours of your second card. Such a pretty assortment of flower shapes you’ve used, too. Keeping them simple with touches of colour really adds to the CAS design. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
And congratulations to your parents for their 61st Anniversary. Such a long commitment deserves such a beautifully crafted card.
Gorgeous colouring on the first card on the grey card….Beautifully CAS.
Wonderful layering of the stamps and gorgeous colours on the second.
Wow…on the third, so very beautiful and love the stencil work and congratulations to your parents 61 st anniversary …you must be so very proud ….x.
These are all so pretty, Izzy! I love the grey cardbase on your first CAS design and the pencil shading looks great. The artsy stamp layering on your second card is so clever and, of course, I do love that big chrysanthemum stencil from Uniko 🙂 Congratulations to your parents too on such a wonderful wedding anniversary!
