Bonjour !

Suite à un changement professionnel, ma cousine a dû changer de ville et elle et sa fille viennent de trouver un nouveau logement. Je voulais donc leur souhaiter plein de bonheur pour ce nouveau départ avec une carte. Je me suis inspirée des couleurs du défi de Color Throwdown et de la jolie photo du nouveau défi chez Time OUT.

Hello !

Following a professional change, my cousin had to move in another city and she and her daughter have just found a new home. I wanted to wish them all the best for this new start with a card. I was inspired by the colours of the challenge of Color Throwdown and the nice picture of the new challenge at Time OUT.

Voici mon interprétation / Here is my card

Sur une double carte en Kraft, j’ai marqué le côté avec une matrice pour faire des points de couture. J’ai découpé un carré de papier blanc légèrement plus petit que le dessus de la carte et j’ai coupé le côté pour qu’il suive les points de couture.

On a double kraft card, I made stitching points with a die along the right edge. In a white card stock, I cut a square slightly smaller than the front card and I cut the right edge so that it follows the stitching marks.

J’ai mis de la masking tape après du bord afin d’obtenir une bande fine sur laquelle j’ai appliqué les couleurs du défi de Color Throwdown.

I put masking tape close to the edge in order to make a thin stripe on which I blended the colours of the Colour Throwdown challenge.

Ensuite j’ai tamponné le vase, les fleurs et le sentiment avec de l’encre Memento noire. J’ai coloré les fleurs avec des crayons de couleur. Et pour finir j’ai collé l’image sur la double carte kraft.

Then I stamped the vase, the flowers and the sentiment with black Memento ink. I colored the flowers with coloured pencils. And to finish, I adhered the image over the double kraft card.

Et voilà ! Il ne me reste plus qu’à écrire et à envoyer la carte !

And Voilà ! I just have to write and send the card !
