Bonjour !
Hello !
Do you know the new challenge “Twofer Card Challenge” from Darnell and her wonderful team ? I’m sure you do ! Unfortunately I didn’t have time to enter the very first one which has had a phenomenal success, but it was out of the question that I do not enter the second one which theme is “Hearts” !
Update : Happy and honoured to be one of the Honourable Mentions at Twofer Card Challenge !
Before choosing this stamp, I watched the current different challenges in order to get inspired even more. Cards in Envy, Penny Black & More, Addicted to Stamps, HLS CAS challenge also have the hearts for theme and Just Us Girls has a pretty colour combo. I let my brains do the rest and TADA….. here are the two cards.
I don’t know for you, but last Sunday was a rainy day so nothing like a little bit of coloring to brighten your day. I stamped and white heat embossed the heart four times on a white cardstock.
Then with fine liner markers I had fun colouring this pretty flourish heart. I fussy cut them and I created a flower.
From a yellow cardstock, I die cut the center of the flower and I stamped and black heat embossed the sentiment (from a soon to be released stamp set at Uniko).
On a double green card, I adhered a square white cardstock previously die stitched on the edges. Then I created the flower with the 4 hearts and the yellow center.
Stamp : K-kingdom “FT-3362”, Uniko (to be revealed soon) – Markers : Staedtler Triplus fineliner – Die : MFT “Basic Stitch lines”, Spellbinders “blossom” (center of the flower).
Challenges:
Twofer Card Challenge #2 : Hearts
Penny Black & More February challenge : Love, Hearts and/or Flowers
Cards in Envy : Give it some heart
Creative Inspiration February challenge : Loves is in the air
Pour cette carte je me suis inspirée du joli combo de couleurs du défi de Just Us Girls : Turquoise, Berry, Kraft.
For this card I get inspired by the pretty combo of colours of the Just Us Girls challenge : Turquoise, Berry, Kraft.
I stamped and white heat embossed the heart on a Kraft square which edges have been previously die stitched.
With coloured pencils with the turquoise and berry shades I coloured the inside of the heart. Then I die cut the sentiment “thanks”. To give it more dimension, I die cut three times the sentiment and I glued them on each other.
I stamped and white heat embossed the rest of the sentiment, then I adhered the image over the double Kraft card. To finish I glued the word “thanks” back in its cutting.
Stamp : K-kingdom “FT-3362”, Artemio “textes manuscrits” (sentiment) – Pencils : Faber-Castell polychromos ” #123, 125, 130, 154, 156″ – Die : MFT “Basic Stitch lines”, STAMPlorations “happy word”.

I have a hard time to combine several challenges but you did great! Your heart stamp is beautiful, love all the details in it. The flower you created for Mother’s Day is so pretty and bright and your craft card with the camouflaged thanks die looks amazing!
Thanks for joining us at the Twofer!
Gorgeous, Isabelle … both of them! Your colouring is so detailed and perfect … love how you used the hearts for that beautiful, bright, spring-like bloom … and I adore the camouflaged thanks … that colour combo is so striking with the white embossing! Delighted that you had chance to play along with us this month at Twofer! Bises & Hugs, Anita 🙂

Love both of your cards! The one for our challenge with the hearts in the circle (Mother’s Day) if beautiful! Thank you for sharing with us at Cards in Envy.
Gorgeousness, both of them! I love how you created the flower with four of the same die but, I had to look carefully to spot that, and if it wasn’t for the name of the challenge I may have missed it altogether! Very creative! And I love the singular heart too, pencil colouring on kraft is always beautiful, especially with white heat embossing and your card is so stunning with the die cut thanks over the top! Haven’t had a chance to enter Darnell’s challenge yet, one day! Have a great weekend, Lisa x
Izzy, I think you are too hard on yourself! Your cards ARE phenomenal and they nail a ton of wonderful challenges, including Twofer! Well done! I think your Mother’s Day colorful heart flower is so special and your thank you card is a CASlicious delight! I love the camouflaged word, white embossing, and the beautiful jewel tones! Thank you so much for playing along in Twofer Card Challenge #2!! Hugs, Darnell
I love the heart on the first card great job creating a floral focal point on the first card. The second one is beautiful with Kraft.
Bises.
So pretty! Love how you used the colors from the challenge! Great twofer too! Thanks so much for joining us at JUGS!
What amazing and fabulous colouring. Great cards and love the hidden message on the second card x
These are stunning cards, Isabelle! The colors of your Mother’s Day card are right up my alley! I just love pink and green together with a dab of yellow! The flowers petals are magnificent, and how sweet that the sentiment fits so perfectly in the center! Love the Springtime feel of this card! And your thank you card is equally beautiful. The white embossed heart in those turquoise and berry colors looks stunning against the kraft background. These are just wonderful cards!! Thank you so much for joining us at the Twofer Challenge!
