Bonjour !
Hello !
Tomorrow it’s my friend’s birthday and I had to make her a card. Her favourite colour is green and she also likes warm colours. Then yesterday I had a look among all the current challenges to inspire me and I found the sketch of The Flower Challenge very interesting ! What was my surprise this morning while looking for the sketch photo to add it to my post : the challenge has closed two days ago ! 😄😄😄 This is totally me ! At least it enabled me to make my card.
Here is the sketch !
As I still had a stripe of the last Brusho I had made (see HERE), I used it to make the horizontal stripe of the sketch. I adhered it to the double white card. After I stamped and I heat embossed the sentiment. Then I stamped the leaves directly on the double card and I only heat embossed the thinnest ones.
On a white paper I stamped the pink flower with Distress ink then with Versamark in order to heat embosse with clear powder. For the orange flower, I inked it with yellow and orange Memento Luxe inks and I also heat embossed it. Then I die cut them with the matching dies and I adhered them on the stripe with Glue Dots.
And to finish, three droplets that remind of the morning dew ! And Voilà !

Oh this is so beautiful! I LOVE this card. I really need to start CASEing some of your beautiful creations (with full credit of course). I really love the design (it’s a great sketch for a challenge) and of course, that brusho strip is the perfect colour to showcase the blooms. So gorgeous! And clear embossing powder is just not something I remember to use, and it really does make the flowers pop a lot more. Stunning card Izzy, everything about it is gorgeous. Hugs, Lisa x
Bon weekend Bises x
