Bonjour,
Hello,
This weekend, I wanted to make a card with the Postage Collage die. And I don’t know why, but I immediately thought about Anita Jeram’s images to fill in the boxes. I love all her adorable critters !
It was a Christmas card that came to mind first, so I arranged the stamps I wanted in the different boxes and I stamped in black. Then I masked all the images so I could make the background.
I first applied the shades of red and green, then with a stencil I made the small patterns by going over them with the same inks. I took off the masks and I coloured the images with coloured pencils.
And to finish, I flat adhered these images on a double red card.
Since the stamps were still in the Misti, I thought it would be fun to make the same card but just by changing the colours, the sentiment and the stars to make it a birthday card.
Without further ado, I replaced the sentiment, the stencil for the background and the stars stamp with a pennant stamp. I took the opportunity to use the colours from the last Color Hues challenge to colour the images and the background.
I made the background with Distress inks and the images are coloured with coloured pencils.
To finish, I flat adhered these images on a double white card.
I like the result. It’s funny how two cards can be different with just minimal changes.
Merci d’être venu me voir et n’hésitez pas à me laisser un commentaire, je suis toujours ravie de vous lire. Très bonne semaine et à très bientôt !
Thank you for coming to see me and feel free to leave me a comment, I am always delighted to hear from you. Have a fabulous week and see you soon !

For your information, I created a stencil in a piece of Mylar to be able to hide the pretty cutouts that make the frames of the images.
