Voici ma carte / Here is my card

Update: Happy and honoured to be one of the Top Few at Color Hues.

La fille d’une de mes amies s’est mariée récemment au bord de la mer et le marié portait une marinière. Je voulais donc leur faire une carte de félicitations et le sketch de Fusion Card Challenge ainsi que les couleurs de Color Hues m’ont bien inspirée.

One of my friend’s daughter recently got married by the sea and the groom was wearing a sailor T-shirt. So I wanted to make them a congratulatory card and the Fusion Card Challenge sketch as well as the colours of Color Hues really inspired me.

Pour faire la bannière, j’ai tout simplement tamponné les lignes avec de l’encre bleue marine puis j’ai coloré entre les lignes avec un crayons beige. Et je l’ai collé sur la double carte blanche.

For the banner, I simply stamped the stripes with dark blue ink and I coloured between the stripes with a tan colour pencil. And I flat adhered it on the double white card.

Puis j’ai tamponné ces jolies sardines (jamais utilisées auparavant) sur du papier blanc et je les ai colorées avec des crayons de couleur. Je les ai découpées à la main et je les ai collées sur la bannière avec des carrés de mousse adhésive.

Then I stamped these pretty sardines (NBUS) on white paper and colored them with colored pencils. I fussy cut them and glued them to the banner with adhesive foam squares.

Pour finir j’ai tamponné le sentiment Félicitations.

To finish, I stamped the Congratulations sentiment.
