Carte/Card

Colorado Craft Company – inspired by CAS Christmas

Bonjour !

Hello !

I recently bought a few sets of Anita Jeram (again!) And this one immediately made me think of the challenge of CAS Christmas: Plaid…

… voici ma carte / … here is my card

Indeed, I imagined the sofa with a plaid fabric. The only problem is that I didn’t have paper with stripes thin enough for the sofa. So I created it with markers.

After that I used the “paper piecing” technique to make the sofa, i.e. I stamped the sofa parts on the paper and I fussy cut them.

Then on a white slimline card stock, I stamped the image and I glued the different parts of the sofa. I coloured the rest of the image with colour pencils.

To finish I stamped the sentiment and I adhered this image on a very pale blue double slimline card.

Et Voilà ! Thank you for your visit and feel free to leave me a comment, I am always delighted to hear from you. Have a great day and see you soon ! 😉
