Personnellement j’ai un peu galéré et je me suis inspirée auprès de mes coéquipier(e)s.

Personally, I struggled a bit and I was inspired by my teammates.

Voici mes cartes / Here are my cards

1/ Time to drink…

Pour mettre en évidence cette technique, il me fallait un sentiment assez large, et je me suis souvenue de ce set.

To bring out this technique, I needed a pretty broad sentiment, and I remembered this set.

J’ai découpé une forme dans du papier noir avec une matrice puis j’ai tamponné et embossé en blanc le sentiment et les bordures.

I die cut a shape in a black card stock then I stamped and I white heat embossed the sentiment and the motif.

Avant d’embosser j’ai mis de la poudre antistatique pour que la poudre d’embossage n’adhère seulement que sur les motifs tamponnés. Cette poudre laisse des marques blanches sur le papier noir (facilement effaçable avec un chiffon doux) mais je m’en suis servi pour faire l’effet de craie.

Before embossing I put anti-static powder on so that the embossing powder only adheres to the stamped patterns. This powder leaves white marks on the black paper (easily erased with a soft cloth) but I used it to create the effect of chalk.

Sur un morceau de papier blanc, j’ai tamponné deux coupes de champagne avec de l’encre or puis je les ai découpées à la main.

On a white scrap of paper, I stamped two glasses of champagne with gold ink, then I fussy cut.

Pour finir, j’ai collé le sentiment sur une double carte or. J’ai collé un brillant sur les motifs puis j’ai collé les deux coupes avec de la mousse adhésive.

To finish, I adhered the sentiment on a double gold card. I glued some gem on the motifs then I foam mounted the two glasses.

2/ Hi friend

Bon j’admet que pour cette seconde carte, la technique se voit beaucoup moins puisque l’ardoise de cet adorable raton laveur est toute petite. C’est pour cela que j’ai rajouté un peu de craie sur les coins de la carte pour vous montrer qu’on peut aussi donner cet effet sur du papier même un peu plus clair que le noir.

Well I admit that for this second card, the technique is less evident since the slate of this adorable raccoon is very small. This is why I added a bit of chalk on the corners of the card to show you that we can also give this effect on paper even a bit lighter than black.

J’ai commencé par faire un dégradé avec de l’encre corail sur un papier blanc puis j’ai découpé le mot “friend” avec une matrice encore jamais utilisée.

I started by making a gradient with coral ink on a white card stock then I cut the word “friend” with a NBUS die.

Sur un autre morceau de papier blanc, j’ai tamponné le raton laveur, puis avec un masque, j’ai tamponné la souche d’arbre. Puis je les ai colorés et découpés à la main.

On a scrap of white card stock, I stamped the racoon, then with a mask, I stamped the tree stump. Then I coloured and fussy cut them.

Pour faire l’ardoise, j’ai aussi utilisé un masque pour cacher les nervures qui se trouve sur le tampon original, puis j’ai tamponné et embossé en blanc sur du papier noir. J’ai ensuite découpé à la main l’ardoise que j’ai collé par dessus la blanche. Les traces de craie sont faites à la fois avec un crayon de couleur blanc et de la poudre anti-static. J’ai aussi retamponné le raton laveur sur un autre papier blanc pour ne garder que les petites pattes qui tiennent l’ardoise. Je les ai colorées, coupées à la main et collées.

To make the slate, I also used a mask to hide the ribs that are on the original stamp, then I stamped and white heat embossed on black paper. I then fussy cut the slate and glued it over the white one. The chalk marks are made with both white pencil and anti-static powder. I also stamped again the raccoon on a white scrap of paper to keep only the little paws that hold the slate. I colored, fussy cut and glued them.

Pour finir j’ai découpé un carré dans du papier gris avec une matrice, je l’ai collé sur la double carte blanche. Puis j’ai collé le mot friend à plat et le raton laveur avec de la mousse adhésive.

To finish I die cut a square in a grey card stock, I adhered it on a double white card. Then I flat glued the “Friend” word and I foam mounted the racoon.
