Je ne sais pas vous, mais moi j’adore les chats, alors j’ai tout simplement craqué pour ces adorables chatons et aujourd’hui je vous présente les deux cartes que j’ai faites en changeant juste le fond !

Hello !

I don’t know for you, but as far as I’m concerned I love cats, so I simply couldn’t resist these adorable kittens and today I show you the two cards I made by just changing the background !

First Card

J’ai commencé par tamponner les 2 chats aux extrémités puis je les ai masqués. Ensuite j’ai tamponné le chat au bonnet vert que j’ai aussi masqué pour finir avec le chat au bonnet bleu.

I started by stamping the two cats at the ends and then I masked them. Then I stamped the cat with the green cap that I also masked to finish with the cat with the blue cap.

J’ai fait en sorte de ne pas enlever les tampons de ma Misti car d’une part j’aime bien tamponner de nouveau après avoir coloré les images, et d’autre part pour faire plus rapidement la seconde carte.

I made sure not to remove the stamps of my Misti because on the one hand I like to stamp again after having colored the images, and secondly to make more quickly the second card.

Avec des post-it, j’ai masqué la partie basse de la carte pour pouvoir faire le ciel avec des encres Distress Oxide. Avant de retirer tous les masques, j’ai fait des éclaboussures avec de l’eau au-dessus du ciel puis j’ai absorbé le surplus avec un Sopalin, cela donne un effet étoilé au ciel.

With post-it notes, I masked the bottom part of the card to be able to blend the Distress Oxide inks to make the sky. Before removing all the masks, I splashed water above the sky then I dried with a paper towel to give a starry look to the sky.

Puis j’ai coloré les chatons avec des crayons de couleur et j’ai mis un peu de Wink of Stella sur le blanc de leur bonnet ainsi que sur la neige.

Then I coloured the kittens with colour pencils and I brushed some Wink of Stella on the fur of their cap as well as on the snow bank.

Pour finir j’ai tamponné le sentiment et les notes de musique.

To finish I stamped the sentiment and the musical notes.

Second card

Update : Happy and Honoured to be one of the top 3 over at Tuesday Throwdown.

Pour la seconde carte, j’ai fait exactement pareil en changeant juste la couleur du ciel, la façon de colorer les chats et j’ai remplacé les étoiles par de la neige avec un pinceau et de la peinture acrylique blanche.

For the second card, I did exactly the same by just changing the color of the sky, the way of coloring the cats and I replaced the stars with snow with a brush and white acrylic paint.
