Less is More #396 – CAS embossing

Bonjour !

Hello !

I hope that you all are fine and ready for our last challenge of May at Less is More. We also finish the month with our sponsor CAS-ual Fridays. I look forward to seeing in the gallery what you will show us !

Voici mes cartes / Here are my cards

1/ Mon amie (using sponsor stamps and die)

For this card I used the beautiful set “Mon ami” from our sponsor as well as one of the matching dies.

On a white card stock I stamped the 2 flowers of the set with a very soft blue ink (the one of the top and the one of the middle) and I drew the third one.

I coloured them with colour pencils making a blue gradient. Then I used the matching die of the big flower to dry emboss the outlines and make it popping up. I stamped the sentiments with blue inks.

To finish I made a frame with my scoring board all around the card stock, I adhered it on the double white card and I glued some bleu rhinestones.

Stamp & die: CAS-ual Fridays “Mon ami” – Inks: Altenew “See glass”, Versafine “Majestic blue” – Colour pencils : Faber-Castell Polychromos “#147, 152, 151, 246”.

To make the dry embossing of this card I used a border embossing folder. Once embossed I delicately scrubbed my white ink pad on top.

I die cut the dragonflies in a silvery paper and I glued them. Then I stamped the sentiment in white.

Stamp: Simply Graphic “Planche Condoléances” – Ink: Hero Arts “Unicorn” – Embossing folder : Darice “Nature theme” – Die : Memory Box “Dragonfly stems left corner”.

When I bought this adorable stamps set, I already had this card in my mind. For a long time already, I have this embossing folder in my stash, and even if it is not bamboo, it always made me think of it.

So I made a diffuser in a thick card stock in order that the part where I wanted to stamp the panda was not embossed.

Once embossed, I stamped the panda with black ink and I coloured it with colour pencils. On another white card I stamped the paws only and I fussy cut them to glue them on top.

To finish I stamped the sentiment in black and green bamboo !

Stamp: Gerda Steiner “Lovely pandas”, Simply Graphic “Planche un petit coucou” – Ink: Altenew “Bamboo” – Embossing folder : K-Kingdom – Colour Pencils : Faber-Castell Polychromos “#132, 232, 233, 234, 235, 199”.
