Carte/Card

Uniko – Floral Teacup

Bonjour !

Hello !

When I discovered the challenge of Fusion Card of this fortnight, I immediately wanted to participate ! At first ,I saw the photo of inspiration that I find very beautiful, then I finally decided to play the game and try the fusion of the sketch and the photo of inspiration.

Et voici ma carte / And here is my card.

It was obvious for me that the Uniko stamps set “I LOVE tea” was the ideal set to make this card. I first stamped and heat embossed with gold powder the teacup on a white cardstock. Then I coloured it with colour pencils and I fussy cut it.

On another white cardstock, I stamped different elements of several sets to create the pattern paper (pattern which reminds the teacup one). What I like about Uniko stamps is that there are always a bunch of small patterns, in addition to the main motif, which enable to make nice backgrounds. I used Brilliance inks to give even more shimmer to the pattern, and I also used gold powder on the third layer of the flowers.

I die cut this pattern paper to give it this rounded shape at the 2 edges.

Then I made a smaller panel with the scattered dots stamp of the last release of Uniko. On a Vellum strip, I stamped the sentiment and I adhered it on the dotted panel.

Having all the elements of the sketch, I then mounted them on my double white card. And Voilà !
