Bonjour !
Hello !
Oh la la ! Easter is fast approaching and I need some cards and quick ! To change I will not put small rabbit or eggs but just a flower that reminds spring! I must say that here we have a beautiful weather, all the garden is in bloom, the lawn we sowed 15 days ago grows at a glance! It smells like the barbecue this weekend!
A little bit of watercolour to make this flower in shades of pink! On a watercolor paper, I stamped the various elements of this (NBUS) stamps set with Versamark ink and I heat embossed with white powder. I then played with my watercolour brush pens and distress inks to make the different shades of pink.
Then I delicately cut each part of the flower all around the embossing part and I stuck them on top of each other to form this pretty blossom ! On a double white card that I created with two rounded corners, I stamped the leaves with green Distress inks. The feeling was printed.
As I found this card pretty, I decided to make one with another spring shade! Even if cutting out each part of the flower is a bit long!
On the biggest part of the flower, I tried to do a bit of “smooshing” but we do not see it very well !
And Voilà ! Two new cards for Easter, and I’m still on time !

Thanks Amy !
Such pretty CAS cards, Izzy. Love the bright vibrant colours.
Thanks so much Trina !
Izzy you’ve certainly worked your CAS and dynamic magic on these beauties. Fantastic showcase of those Uniko goodies too. Beautiful colouring and love the layering of those blooms. A perfect spring feel all round and thanks for playing along at AAA Cards and Uniko. x
Thank you so much Sarah for your lovely words!
Two super pretty cards Izzy, and I like the shape of the white card too – almost petal like if you turn it a little. And I see your smooshing! I did a bit of smooshing last week after not doing it for months – so our minds must have been in the same place!
I love the simplicity of the cards – the colours are gorgeous and perfect for Spring/Easter. I am also not a fan of fussy cutting – so I feel your pain when it takes a little time! But I think so worth the effort.
I really must look into Uniko – they have some really great stamps.
Isn’t it lovely when the garden springs to life – our lawn unfortunately is not looking at good as yours sounds! And the weeds are calling to me every day, but I try not to hear them 🙂
have a lovely week, Lisa x
Thanks ever so much Lisa for your sweet comment !
Super cute!!! Thank you for joining us at ATSM, good luck!!! Amy DT
Awesome card! Thanks for playing along with us at ATSM.
So very pretty, Isabelle … both versions are deliciously fresh and lovely … and full of spring! We too have magnificent weather … everything is growing beautifully … including the weeds!! Bises, Anita 🙂
Two very pretty CAS spring cards! Love the bright and cheerful colors!
Nothing blooms here yet nor are there any green leaves on the trees, but at least the snow is almost all gone…
Oh, wow! These are all so fabulous! I love that flower stamp and the pretty colors you used…such CAS cards!
