CASology – Guérir / Cure

img_3509

Bonjour !

Hello !

When I saw the cue word “Cure” of the last challenge of CASology, the idea of this card came to me!  And yet I do not like the drugs, if I can cure myself without taking them, I’m thrilled!

But I found fun to write the word “well” with capsules! So I cut the form of a capsule in a white cardstock and I coloured the half of the capsule with a red Promarker. On the edges of the white part I coloured with a very light grey pencil to make it pops up on the card.

On a white cardstock, I drew a nurse’s cap, I fussy cut and I coloured the edges with a black marker. I attached a red cross colored with the same red Promarker on top of it.

Because it reminded me of a sterile gauze compress, I printed on a textured cream paper the black part of the sentiment with the Apple Casual font (26 pts), and then I die cut it with a stitched Die.

I stuck the capsules between the two words “get” and “soon” by writing “well”. Then above, I stuck the nurse’s cap. To bring out this rectangle patch, I attached it on a sheet of red paper before attaching the whole part on the double card.

And Voilà ! I had fun by making all those capsules. A simple and easy card to make. If it does not cure, I hope it at least will put a smile on the face of the person who will receive it.
