Je suis partie du défi “Fais un voeu”, à quelle occasion faisons-nous un voeu ? Quand on souffle sur une bougie, quand on souffle sur les graines d’un pissenlit, quand une coccinelle s’envole de votre main, quand on voit passer une étoile filante…et j’en oublie surement !

I took the challenge “Make a Wish” as a started point, in which occasion do you make a wish ? When you blow out a candle, when you blow on a dandelion seeds, when a ladybug flies off your hand, when you see a shooting star….and I surely forget some !

J’ai regardé ce que j’avais en stock pour illustrer ce défi et je suis tombée sur un tampon que je n’avais jamais utilisé…je l’avais eu en cadeau dans un magazine.

I had a look to my supplies and I came across a stamp that I’ve never used….it came as a freebie with a magazine.

J’ai donc pris un papier bleu foncé pour illustrer la nuit et j’ai utilisé l’encre Versafine Onyx Black et de la poudre transparente pour mon tampon.

So I took a dark blue paper to illustrate the night and I used Versafine Onyx Black ink and clear embossing powder to stamp the image.

Pour colorier l’image, j’ai utilisé, à l’aide d’un pinceau, mes encres Opalite de chez Tsukineko. Quand on ouvre le tampon encreur, on ne voit pas la couleur, c’est comme un tampon encreur vierge. En fait la couleur n’apparaît que sur des papiers foncés et elle est plutôt brillante.

To color the image, I used my Tsukineko Opalite inks with a brush. When you open the ink pad, you do not see which color it is. It’s like an uninked foam pad. In fact the color only appears on dark paper and it is rather brilliant.

Comme base pour ma carte, j’ai utilisé une double carte blanche à l’aspect brillant. J’ai découpé mon image avec une die Spellbinders Classic Ovals Large et je l’ai collé sur la carte avec de la mousse. J’ai tamponné le sentiment, l’étoile et les 2 lignes avec de la Versamark et de la poudre Hero Arts Silver.

For the card base I used a double white card with a brilliant finish. I cut the image with a Spellbinders Classic Oval Large die and I mounted it onto foam over the card base. The sentiment, the star and the two lines were stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with Hero Arts Silver powder.

Et voilà ! Je fais le voeu maintenant de gagner ce challenge…. bon ce n’est pas vraiment l’époque pour voir des étoiles filantes…mais bon, on a le droit de rêver ! A bientôt avec une autre carte…et merci pour votre visite !
