Are you ready for the first reveal of the April new release at Uniko ? Today we are introducing you to one new set which comes and completes the Serenade series : Butterfly Serenade. 

Voici comment j’ai été inspirée ! / Here’s how I’ve been inspired !

J’ai tamponné ce set par 2 fois sur un rectangle de papier blanc et sur une double carte blanche.

I stamped this set twice on a rectangle of white card stock and on a double white card.

J’ai ensuite coloré avec des crayons de couleur les papillons puis j’ai tamponné le sentiment avant de coller l’image sur la double carte blanche avec de la mousse adhésive.

Then I coloured the butterflies with coloured pencils and I stamped the sentiment before foam mounting the panel on the double white card.

Stamps : Uniko “Butterfly Serenade” – Color Pencils : Faber-Castell Polychromos “#154, 156, 155” – Inks : Distress “Uncharted Mariner, Peacock Feathers”.

Pour cette seconde carte, j’ai utilisé un des pochoirs du lot English Country Garden Butterflies pour faire le fond en appliquant avec une brosse une légère couche d’encre.

For this second card, I used one of the stencils from the English Country Garden Butterflies bundle to make the background by applying a soft layer of ink with a brush.

J’ai laissé le pochoir en place pour qu’il serve de masque, et j’ai tamponné le set Butterfly Serenade en noir et les autres papillons présents aussi dans le set avec des encres de couleur.

I let the stencil in place to act as a mask, and I stamped the Butterfly Serenade set in black and the other butterflies present in the set with coloured inks.

J’ai tamponné le sentiment sur une bande de papier blanc, je l’ai découpé et je l’ai collé sur la double carte.

I stamped the sentiment on a strip of white card stock, I fussy cut it and I adhered it on the double card.

Stamps : Uniko “Butterfly Serenade“, “Simply Said Blocks II” – Stencil : Uniko “English Country Garden Butterflies bundle” – Inks : Distress “Salvaged Patina, Wilted Violet, Peacock Feathers”.
