Bonjour !
Hello !
A few ongoing challenges inspired me for this card and it was also a good reason to play with one of Anita Jeram’s adorable sets.
Update: Happy and honoured to be one of the Top 5 at The Dream Factory.
With St Patrick’s Day approaching, green and clovers were appropriate. So I started by making a green background on watercolor paper with Brusho pigments.
Once dry, I used a “clover” stencil and I brushed some green Distress ink. Then with a green colour pencil, I drew the outlines of the clovers in order the pop up even better.
On a piece of Bristol paper, I stamped with “no line colouring” ink the image of this adorable mouse. Then with Zig brush pencils I coloured this image.
I flat adhered a square of white card stock on the double kraft card, then I glued the background panel on top.
I die cut a label in black paper then I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment on top. I glued it on the card.
To finish, I fussy cut the mouse and the little clovers then I foam mounted them on the card.
Second part of the sentiment, stamped and white heat embossed inside the card.
