Which makes a total of: 5 new stamp sets, 1 reintroduction of an old stamp and 3 new stencils ! I am sure that in this beautiful lot you have already found your happiness !
Voici comment cette nouvelle collection m’a inspirée…
And here is how this new release inspired me…
Card #1
“Background Blocks Splatters”, “Everyday Sentiments” & “Garden Butterfly II stencil”
It’s a one layer card. I put the stencil Garden Butterfly II on a double white card and I stamped the Background Blocks Splatters set in different places. To finish, I stamped a sentiment from the Everyday Sentiments set then, after masking the butterfly, I made splatters all around with a brush and the same inks diluted in water.
Inks : Kaleidacolor “Caribbean sea”, Versafine “Onyx black”.
Card #2
“Background Blocks Splatters”, “Big & Bold You” & “Background Builders Classics”
I don’t know if it’s the fact that I got all these new products around Valentine’s Day, but in this new Background Blocks Splatters stamp I see half a heart. That’s why I stamped it in red on a piece of white card stock. On the double white card I stamped and I black heat embossed the sentiment of the Big & Bold You set as well as the horizontal lines from the Background Builders Classics set. Finally, I foam mounted the heart on the double card.
Inks : Distress “Candied Apple”, Versafine “Onyx black”.
Card #3
“Fun Flowers stencil & mask”, “Everyday Sentiments” & “Fun Flowers”
Inspired by the Color Hues challenge colours I created this card. On the left part of a double white card, I used the stencil and its masks Fun Flowers then on the right part I stamped a border from the Background Builders Classics set. I also stamped a flower from the Fun Flowers set and I fussy cut it. Finally, I glued the different parts of the flower with Glue Dots on a piece of white card stock on which I stamped a sentiment from the Everyday Sentiments set, then I flat adhered it to the double white card.
Inks : Catherine Pooler “Party Dress, Suede Shoes”, Enamel Dots : Pinkfresh Studio “The best day” (gift from one of my teamie).
Card #4
“Fun Flowers spray & mask” & “Birthday Wishes”
As soon as I saw the gorgeous Fun Flower Spray & Mask stencil, I thought to make a wreath and I wanted to try it with colour pencils on a kraft card. This time I chose the colours of the Color Throwdown challenge. Both the stencil and the mask have been used.
To finish, I stamped, in the middle of the wreath, a sentiment from the Birthday Wishes set . Once in pink and a second time in plum after slightly having shifted the card.
Colour Pencils : Prismacolor “#938, 289, 120, 920, 1013, 995” – Inks : Distress Oxide “Spun sugar, Seedless Preserves”.
