I hope you are well and that you are ready for the new challenge over at Addicted to Stamp and More.

La petite fille de ma meilleure amie a fêté ses 5 ans le mois dernier et en ce moment c’est sa période licornes, voici la carte que j’ai fait pour elle…

My best friend’s grand daughter turned 5 last month and right now it’s her “unicorn” period, here is the card I made for her…

Sur une double carte blanche, j’ai tout d’abord délimité où je devais utilisé mon pochoir Arc-en-Ciel. J’ai appliqué une légère couche d’encre bleue pour faire le ciel puis avec le pochoir j’ai fait l’arc-en-ciel.

On a double white card, I first demarcated where I should use my rainbow stencil. I brushed a light coat of blue ink to make the sky then with the stencil I made the rainbow.

Dans du papier blanc, j’ai découpé le cadre, les nuages et le support pour le sentiment avec des matrices et j’ai tamponné le sentiment.

In a white card stock, I die cut the frame, the clouds and the sentiment backing and I stamped the sentiment.

Sur des morceaux de papier blanc, j’ai tamponné les deux licornes (avec un peu de masquage pour le cadeau), je les ai colorées avec des crayons de couleur puis je les ai découpées à la main. Et pour ajouter un peu de “magie”, j’ai mis une couche de Wink of Stella sur leurs crinières et leurs queues.

On white card stock scraps, I stamped both unicorns (with a bit of masking for the gift), I coloured them with colour pencils then I fussy cut them. And to add some “magic” I put a coat of Wink of Stella on their manes and tails.

Pour finir, j’ai tout assemblé en collant le sentiment au dos du cadre puis en collant le cadre autour de l’image au pochoir avec de la mousse adhésive. Les licornes et les nuages (sauf 1) sont aussi collés avec de la mousse adhésive.

To finish, I put everything together by adhering the sentiment to the back of the frame and then by foam mounting the frame around the stencilled image. Unicorns and clouds (except 1) are also foam mounted.

Et voici la video de sa réaction, elle a illuminé ma journée…
