Bonjour et joyeuse fête d’Halloween !
Halloween est arrivé en France qu’à la fin des années 90, ce qui veut dire qu’enfant je n’ai jamais célébré cette fête. Même avec mes enfants nous l’avons très peu célébré, bien sûr je les ai accompagnés quelques fois pour faire du porte à porte et réclamer des bonbons mais très vite ils ne voulaient plus le faire.
Hello and Happy Halloween !
Halloween arrived in France at the end of the 90′, which means that as a child, I’ve never celebrated this holidays. Even with my children we barely celebrated it. Of course I accompanied my children a few times to go door to door and ask for sweets, but rapidly they didn’t want to do it anymore.
Par contre il en est tout autrement lorsqu’il s’agit de tampons….et il se trouve que j’ai eu l’immense plaisir de recevoir cet adorable set de Gerda Steiner pour mon anniversaire. Je n’ai pas pu m’empêcher de faire cette carte spéciale pour l’occasion !
On the other hand, it is quite different when it comes to stamps …. and it turns out that I had the immense pleasure to receive this adorable set from Gerda Steiner for my birthday. I couldn’t help but make this special card for the occasion !

Ces petites chauves souris sont loin de faire peur, elles sont même plutôt adorable ! J’aime beaucoup celle qui est accrochée la tête en bas, j’ai donc dessiné un arbre pour qu’elle puisse s’accrocher à une branche. Quant à l’autre, il lui fallait aussi un support, alors avant de la mettre sur un vieux mur en pierres que j’ai aussi dessiné, j’ai tamponné les citrouilles et courges avant en utilisant des masques.
These little bats are far from scary, they are even quite adorable ! I really like the one that hangs upside down, so I drew a tree for it to hang on a branch. As for the other, it also needed a stand, so before putting it on an old stone wall that I also drew, I stamped the pumpkins and gourds by using masks.
J’ai ensuite tout masqué, j’ai fait un masque rond dans un post-it pour faire la lune et j’ai commencé par faire le ciel violet avec des encres Distress.
Then I masked everything, I made a rond mask in a post it note for the moon and I started with the purple sky with Distress inks.
Une fois le ciel fait, je l’ai à son tour masqué pour faire le champ avec de l’encre Distress ainsi que le pied du mur.
Once the sky was done, I also masked it to make the field with Distress ink as well as the base of the wall.
Puis j’ai retiré tous les masques et c’est là que j’ai utilisé les crayons de couleur pour donner vie à cette petite scène !
Then I removed all the masks and that’s where I used the colour pencils to give life to this little scene !
La mise en couleur terminée, j’ai tamponné la première partie du sentiment puis j’ai collé cette image sur une double slimline carte noire. La seconde partie du sentiment est à l’intérieur de la carte…
The coloring finished, I stamped the first part of the sentiment then I flat adhered this image on a double slimline black card. The second part of the sentiment is inside the card…
Et voilà ! J’ai adoré faire cette carte et elle est “presque” aussi belle que dans mon imagination.
Et voilà ! I loved making this card and it is “almost” as beautiful as I imagined it.
