Less is More #412 – Less

Bonjour !

Hello !

It’s party time over at Less is More for the whole month of February, we are celebrating the 9 years of the blog. And the more we are, the merrier the party is…that’s why our sponsor is Uniko who also celebrates all this month its birthday with its 8 years (festivities start today on their blog) !

From the first part of the blog name we have made our theme : Less. So we would love to see how small you can go with your images and/or sentiments and how few you can use.

Here are my cards made exclusively with products from our Uniko sponsor.

1/ Birthday wishes

Here is the simplest card that I have created since I started ! The sentiment stamped in black and red and the smallest flowers and leaves that I’ve been able to find in my Uniko’s stamps.

Stamp: Uniko “Pure Florals: Chrysanthemum” (Birthday), “Simply said” (Wishes) & “Background builders: vines” (flowers and leaves) – Die: Spellbinders “5×7 modern stationary” – Inks: Catherine Pooler “Tiki torch, Lime rickey, Party dress”, Versafine “Onyx black”.
Challenge
Perfectly CAS #5 – One Layer

2/ Love you

On this card, the stamp is bigger even if it remains reasonably small. The heart in the background is 3rd generation stamping.

Then, on top, I stamped the sentiment in black and I replaced the letter “o” by a heart that I stamped in red and on which I put some Glossy Accent to highlight it.

Stamp: Uniko “BIG & BOLD: Love”, “Sweet baby” (sentiment) & “Some bunny” (small heart – now retired) – Die: Spellbinders “5×7 modern stationary” – Inks: Kaleidacolor “Desert heat”, Versafine “Onyx black”.
Challenge
Time Out #154 – Affectionate

3/ Thank you

For this last card, I don’t know if it really fits the challenge because the flower is rather big and the vines are many. But I wanted to show it to you because here I used a very small die to highlight the flower.

Indeed, I received as a gift with an order this very small die and with this challenge I found its use. The flower is simply stamped slightly offset.

On the double card I stamped the vines as well as the sentiment. Then I glued the “stamp” on a black card stock before adhering it on the card.

To finish, I put a black strass in the center of the flower.

Stamp: Uniko “Flower power #7”, “Flower power #5” (sentiment) & “Background builders: vines”  – Die: Winnie & Walter ? – Inks: Kaleidacolor “Desert heat”, Versafine “Onyx black”.
