Carte/Card

Funky Fossil Designs & Hero Arts – Zoo animals twofer

Bonjour !

Hello !

I hope that you’ve had a fabulous Easter week-end and that the wonderful weather does not melt the chocolates ! I needed two cards and I get inspired by the Twofer Card Challenge : Zoo Animals !

Voici mes cartes / Here are my cards

1/ Wish big !

Saturday it was my SIL’s birthday and she loves all these beautiful African animals !

I then used this pretty stencil (NBUS) and I played with colours, a little bit as for Elmer the elephant.

Then on a scrap of white paper, I stamped a grey elephant and I cut it with the matching die.

I adhered it to the double card with 3D foam square and I stamped the sentiment in grey.

Stamp: Hero Arts “My Monthly Hero June 2017” & Uniko “Birthday wishes” (sentiment) – Dies: Hero Arts “My Monthly Hero June 2017” – Inks: Distress Oxide“Squeezed lemonade, Spiced marmalade, Cracked pistachio, Peacock feathers, Lucky clover, Worn lipstick, Abandoned coral, Iced spruce”, Altenew “Silver Stone & Industrial diamond” – Stencil: Funky Fossil Designs “Geometric Elephant”.

For this card, I used again the stamp with the elephant but here it is accompanied with all his comrades from the savannah over a background with tribal pattern.

To make the background I used a stencil and Distress inks then I cut the edges with a die.

Then I stamped the silhouettes in black on this background as well as the sentiment and I glued this panel over the double Kraft card.

Stamp: Hero Arts “My Monthly Hero June 2017” & Simply Graphic “Planche remerciement” (sentiment) – Dies: 4 en scrap “Bordures géométriques (été 2018)” – Inks: Distress Oxide “Squeezed lemonade, Spiced marmalade, Twisted citron” – Stencil: Hero Arts “Tribal shapes”.

  1. What creative cards with stencils, Izzy! Thanks for playing along with us at The Male Room Challenge. Looking forward to seeing your creative projects in the future galleries again.

  2. Both are beautiful Izzy, lovely colour choices on them both. I have this HA stamp set and die for over a year now and I have not used it 😬😳

  3. Wow, so vibrant, colourful and tropical, Izzy … both of them! The first puts me in mind of an evening bush scene where all the animals are in silhouette as the hot sun starts to descend … such a fabulous and atmospheric stencilled background! That little elephant wishing big is adorable … love how the different colours in the big elephant really emphasise his grandeur and stature! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Bises et hugs, Anita 🙂

  4. Absolutely stunning cards…..What an amazing elephant stencil on your first card and so beautifully coloured and that adorable little elephant completes a perfect and striking card. Wow to the stencilling on the second card and love the tribal look of it….such a contemporary design and love those silhouettes and how you designed your card. 6. These are sensational, Izzy! I love both designs! That is a really cool Elmer elephant stencil and I love how you have used different colors to emphasize the geometric features! That baby gray elephant is clearly inspired to dream big! And your stencil with the tribal panel was the perfect choice for your thank you card! It’s a wonderful background to display the elephant and all his Savannah friends!! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #15! Hugs, Darnell
