Voici ma carte / Here is my card

Don’t you find out that these beautiful red leaves on the picture of inspiration look like flowers? In any case that’s what inspired me to make this card.

I used the Stylised Floral stencil for the background making a gradient of colours with Distress inks.

On a white card stock, I stamped 2 flowers and the leaves of the Flower Power #8 set with Distress Oxide, then I fussy cut them. I also put orange Distress Oxide ink over a white stripe of paper to stamp and white heat embossed the sentiment.

Then I assembled all the elements over a double black card and I die cut (x3) the sentiment “thanks”.

Fournitures/Supplies : Stamps : Uniko “Flower Power #8” – Stencil : Uniko “Stylised Floral” – Die : MFT “thanks”, SSS “Stitched rectangle” – Inks : Distress “Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade, Festive Berries, Mowed Lawn”, Distress Oxide “Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade” – Embellishment : Hero Arts EP “white”.

  1. Wow, the colours of the background scream Autumn and love how you faded it out towards the bottom. And having it all against the black makes those warm colours jump off the card. Its a stunning design and I’m always so happy to see you at The Flower Challenge!!

  2. The warmth of the ombré blending is just gorgeous, Isabelle … a delicious, soft background for those sweet blooms! Your design positively pops against the bold black border! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Time Out! Anita 🙂

  3. Your combination of stenciling and die cut flowers, sporting Autumn colours, is lovely, Izzy! The white thanks…eye-catching! Another beautifully composed, inspiring work of art!

  4. Oh the color in your stenciling is fantastic. I love the way the floral images go with the stencil pattern. The sentiment die cut is perfect in white as is the white embossed sentiment on the DO strip. Just a gorgeous creation. Thanks for sharing with us at Time Out!
