I’m back today with a card for the new challenge over at Day of the Month Card Club…

Beautiful Day

Voici ma carte / Here is my card

À quoi vous fait penser une journée magnifique ? La première chose qui me soit venue à l’esprit, c’est un arc-en-ciel car non seulement je trouve cela magnifique mais aussi magique.

What makes you think of a beautiful day? The first thing that came to mind, it’s a rainbow because not only I find it beautiful but also magical.

J’ai donc créé cet arc-en-ciel avec un pochoir et des encres directement sur la double carte blanche. J’ai commencé par les nuages que j’ai masqué pour pouvoir faire l’arc-en-ciel.

So I created this rainbow with a stencil and few inks directly on the double white card. I started with the clouds that I masked to make the rainbow.

J’ai ensuite découpé une fenêtre dans un carré de papier blanc sur lequel j’ai tamponné le sentiment. Puis je l’ai collé sur la double carte avec de la mousse adhésive.

Then I die cut a window in a square of white card stock on which I stamped the sentiment. I then foam mounted it on the double card.

Pour embellir cette journée j’ai tamponné deux jolies fleurs sur un morceau de papier blanc, je les ai embossées en blanc et colorées avec des crayons de couleur.

To embellish this day, I stamped two pretty flowers on a piece of white card stock, I white embossed them and I coloured them with colour pencils.

Et pour finir je les ai collées sur la carte. Et voilà !

And to finish I adhered them on the card. Et voilà !
