The Rainbow Card Challenge #28 – Definitely Daffodil

Bonjour !

Hello !

We are the 1st of the month so it also means a new challenge starting over at Rainbow Card Challenge with a new colour: yellow !

Voici ma carte / Here is my card

Happy and Honoured to be Chic of the Week at Just Us Girls.

Of course, flowers came to my mind with this yellow colour, but if you take a good look at the inspirational image other ideas may sprout for you …

So I took out a lovely (NBUS) stencil that I put on a very soft yellow card stock and I blended yellow ink on top of it.

I flat adhered this background on a double yellow card. I cut a square in a yellow card stock, the same size than the double card, and with a die I separated it in two pieces to reveal the stencilled pattern.

I die cut in a white card stock a flower and some foliages. The flower die enabled me to use it as a stencil to colour the flower in yellow.

I foam mounted the two yellow parts on the double card, taking care to wedge the foliages. I glued the flower with Glue Dots and to finish I stamped the sentiment.
