Carte/Card

Gerda Steiner Designs & Uniko – Sea you soon

Bonjour !

Hello !

don’t know about you, but I have a hard time throwing out the “leftovers” when I made a card, so I made a new card with them.

Update: Thrilled and honoured to be one of the Top 3 over at Use your Stuff.

The background of my card is from a leftover of THIS card and this adorable chick was originally planned for THIS card before I changed my mind.

As I still had the Time OUT challenge photo in mind, so I die cut a frame to illustrate the glass jar. I stuck it on the leftover of the background and stuck it all on a double white card.

The chick initially planned for the CAS Mix Up Challenge, is stamped on watercolour paper and it has been watercolored.

The new elements of this card are just the “Beach” panel and the grass cutout which I also created with watercolor paper.

To finish I adhered the chick, the beach sign and the grass with glue dots and adhesive foam. Then I stamped the sentiment.

And voilà ! This chick was too cute to leave it out ! Thanks for your visit and all your lovely comment. It’s always a pleasure to hear from you. See you very soon…

  1. Such a cool idea to use that ‘snowglobe-like’ die for your card and that little duckie couldn’t be more adorable. Love the stamp you used for the waves, adds a lot of interest and the grass die with the ‘beach’ sign is just gorgeous. Always so happy to see your cards at TIME OUT!!

  2. Adorable card. I love how the duck’s sunglasses look like they are reflecting the beach and water. What a fantastic idea! Thank you for playing along at USE YOUR STUFF – Gail #staysafe #stayhealthy

    Merci!

  3. What a fabulous card, Izzy! I love the CAS scene you created and the duckling is adorable. 🙂 I hope you are well. xx Thank you for joining us at Time Out!

  4. Izzy, I love this card… and especially the little duck.
I looked to see if I could find the stamp, but I couldn’t. Is this a new stamp or one too old and not sold any longer???
I would love to get it.
    So cute!!!
