Bonjour !
Me revoilà pour un nouveau défi chez Addicted to Stamp and More et une photo d’inspiration…
Hello !
Here I am with a new challenge over at Addicted to Stamp and More and a photo for inspiration…
To make this card, I first created a stencil in a piece of Mylar by die cutting out a shell shape.
Voici ma carte / Here is my card
Update : Thrilled and honoured to be one of the Outstanding designs over at CAS Stencil challenge.
Thrilled and honoured to be one of the winners over at Make my Monday.
As a lover of the sea and the blue colour, this photo immediately inspired me. I opted to use stencils and Distress inks.
I placed my homemade stencil on the double white card then I made the background with a gradient of blue/green. On top of this stencil I placed the stencil with the shells and I used Distress Oxide and white pigment ink. Then I took a third stencil and I made the shoal of fish.
To finish I stamped the sentiment in blue.
OMG…Love your die cut shell aperture stencil and all the many added stenciled layers of seashells, school of fish and more using greens and blue inks. I had to chuckle when I saw your perfect sentiment:-) TFS and joining us at CAS Stencil. Hugs…Nancy
Fantastic card Izzy! I love your layering of all the stencils. So clever to add white stenciling on top of dark colours! Beautiful! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Stencil! xx
Absolutely stunning! The color combination is fabulous and the design you created inside the shell shape is gorgeous. Thanks for joining us at Make My Monday Challenge!
What a stunning effect. The stencil layering looks amazing Izzy x.
Great colours and design building up those colour and stencils, but reading your post only the sentiment is stamped? If so afraid it’s not eligible at Penny Black and More challenge as we do need to see a stamped focal element which is the shell and fishes.
